The easiest method that's worked for me is the Golden Dawn's Body of Light technique (Google it, it's out there). Most people are able to travel within a month or so. If that's too much work, may as well give it up.

When you are laying in bed about to go to sleep, close your eyes and relax your body from the toes all the way to your head every body part at a time. Get your body really relaxed and also concentrate on a beautiful place and try to imagine yourself there. the relaxing part always helps me astral travel easier but not at the pretty spot i pick out!

Try a bottle of vodka and some sleeping pills. Oh and by the way, it won't be an out of body experience, it will just be the chemicals and electrons in your brain firing out of control as you die and giving you a nice comfy hallucination.

i don,t think you can volunteerly have out of body expierences but they are real and do happen more frequently than is ever admitted.
