If so, what kind? Silly? Morbid? Sadistic? Dry? Sarcastic? I WANT REASONS, TOO, DAMNIT! For example:
God's sense of humor is silly in a sarcastic sort of way - where do you think that platypus came from?
(quite frankly I think the platypus is the result of a very chunky sneeze or something.)

although biblically speaking it didnt happen, someone with free will could have killed jesus before his last day. If there really was a satan, he would have had someone do it. Or maybe Jesus was on of many attempts god sent his son her and was the only one able to be crusified

Japanese researchers discover dolphin with "remains of legs"

TOKYO (AP) _ Japanese researchers said Sunday that a bottlenose dolphin captured last month has an extra set of fins that could be the remains of back legs, providing further evidence that ocean-dwelling mammals once lived on land.
Fishermen captured the four-finned dolphin off the coast of Wakayama prefecture (state) in western Japan on Oct. 28, and alerted the nearby Taiji Whaling Museum, according to museum director Katsuki Hayashi.
Fossil remains show that dolphins and whales were four-footed land animals about 50 million years ago and share the same common ancestor as hippos and deer. Scientists believe they later transitioned to an aquatic lifestyle and their hind limbs disappeared.

I have been studying and reading about it alot lately, and I am sure that I feel the presence of God. I've had recurring dreams about the end of the world, but my boyfriend says I am just paranoid. I know that there is some evidence that points to the end of the world, but how much of it is coinsidence? Will the rapture be soon? Is there a prophecy pointing to when the rapture will occur? Does anyone have any info that might be helpful?

As time goes on and people grow wiser the christian faith grows weaker. It is a known fact the there are less practicing christians by the day. We need to admit why this is happening. It is because people are realizing how far fetched and impossible many biblical stories are. Christians need to admit that the bible is not to be taken 100% literal and stories like noahs ark and the tower of babble are guides. The focus needs to be on Jesus. not hell and the political ride christianity has been on since the beginning. Until there will less and less christians on this earth.

Yeah, I once briefly mentioned how maybe reliegion could be bad, and she spazzed and started reading the bible to me. How do I possibly tell her I'm agnostic without her organising an exorcism?

John 11:35 Question: Why is Jesus crying? He knows He is going to raise Lazarus from the dead.. so why is He crying.. actually. I believe the english gives the wrong "feeling" about what He was actually doing. He wept, sob sob.. NO! He completly lost it! why?

This recently happened to the child my wife provides day care for. I figure that either
1. God allowed it to happen
2. God caused it to happen
3. God couldn't prevent it from happening, or
4. God doesn't care.

All people sin. Christians too. If a christian person makes one mistake people are all over it! Look at Mel Gibson! Is he not human? Why can't people leave him alone? If you are uneducated then you have an excuse. But cmon, we know of egyptian civilization that lived long before that. And we've found frozen people who are even older. What about dinosaur fossils, or stones that take millions of years of pressure to create (ie the diamond) or what about light from planets that we can see that are thousands of light years away. All this scientic evidence every where you turn and people are stuck on a 2000 year old book written by people who had 'visions' and thought the earth was flat. I just dont get it. Most will say they believe that God exists, they believe this is sufficient to be a 'Christian'...clearly this isn't enough!
In the New Testament, it states you must be 'Born Again' to be a 'True Believer'...this means you MUST repent for your sins and ask Jesus into your heart. So if there are so many who believe in God, why are they (maybe you?) embarrassed by the bible, by attending church, and by the mention of Jesus's name?
