If you believe that no one created God, and he simply has existed forever, than why can't you believe the same thing about the universe?

You'll not get a rational answer out of any believer, and that's fine. If they would just stick with the faith thing and not try to rationalize it they would almost sound smarter.

God has always existed. The problem with this concept about who created God is the false premise that God has a similar material structure and is bound to the same laws that govern time and space. God is the one who created these laws and characteristics and as the creator of them, He is not bound by them since he they were not there to begin with. Cause and effect did not exist until God spoke the universe into existence. Many people think of God as just a superior alien or something that is still bound to the laws governing the universe. But because God created these laws he exists outside of them and is not bound by them To those who aren't content with this answer, and who choose to believe that universe is all that existed and is eternal, and that there are no supernatural explanations for it, the same problem remains: What caused the universe? How has it always existed, especially since one of the most fundamental observations in life has been the principle of cause and effect. The Cosmological argument explains this better: Every thing that has a beginning has a cause. The universe has a beginning (i.e. Big Bang), therefore the universe has a cause.

God is not in the universe She is the universe.

She created the universe from the only thing that She had available, Herself.

You and the most distant star from you in the universe both exist within the idea of God.

This is a difficult concept for most people to comprehend because they have been taught nonsense about God. Like the idea that God lives far away on a cloud called heaven. God is not a raindrop. Raindrops live in clouds Not God. This is foolishness.

Jesus told us that the kingdom of God is within us. This is true because each and every one of us exist as a part of God. We live and move within our loving source. There is no moment or possibility that we can ever be apart from her.

Forget the silly stories that you have been told about a distant God that lives in the clouds. Look around you. Everything that you see is God.

Love and blessings.

I don't believe that God is created. God is simply nothing ... uncreated ... unborn, hence God is forever ... infinite ... undying.

And from this nothingness comes everything you see in existence, the big bang exploded from nothing ... you were born from nothing ... the seed in an apple, which came from a tree, which itself was once a seed, which came from an apple ...

And time and age, takes all things back to nothing.

God IS essentially nothing ... and this nothing is the source and womb of all creation.

photo that God is a guiding pressure that gives you the varieties and common sense for the large Bang to apply. there is capacity (the Bang) in spite of the indisputable fact that it want actualities to attempt at. A reason there is order particularly of chaos. in spite of the indisputable fact that it really is a cushty God who works by technique of most excellent and persuading, not capturing lightening bolts in any respect and assorted who displeases his royal highness (an theory borrowed from the Romans i imagine). So issues flow slowly, continually in route of larger and larger pleasant existence. after all, the universe is God's conciseness, the actuality that gives you him something to pay interest on.
