All people sin. Christians too. If a christian person makes one mistake people are all over it! Look at Mel Gibson! Is he not human? Why can't people leave him alone? Ya know - pick on some else like Howard Stern or Bill Clinton or Tara Reid or Mariah Carey - that fake amazon woman don't care about any body but herself! Why do ya think her nickname is MeMe? Let christians be human just like they are at least they show up to church and acknowledge the Lord! How many of those judgemental idiots can say the same, right?

A very good question. Lots of unsaved people seem to see us Christians as too interested in others' sins and not enough in our own--in a word, hypocritical. Well, although I am redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus, I am also a sinful man and I never, ever deny that. So, my responsibility, as I see it, is to take the plank out of my own eye before I try to help someone else see clearly. The people I talk to seem to appreciate that I concentrate on fighting MY sin, rather than theirs. If it is God's will that my humble example could encourage others, then I trust Him to let that happen.

All of us are from Adam and Eve. When they disobeyed they put upon us all sin and death. Every human sins. Only Jesus was perfect. So he died for us all.
When early biblical people were given the law covenant..they tried to keep it but sin is mankinds way.
But we should all try each day not to sin. And as soon as we do pray to God for forgiveness.

Through frustration at the condition of the sadness and violence in the world some retalliate through harsh words. We all do this. We all feel we need to fix things.

Only God can do that now. Only he can make our paths straight.
When we make boo boos we don't get world wide press about it.
The important people you mentioned gave up their private lives long ago. So they need to check their tongue and yet the bible asks...who can tame it?

If you want to be saved do good works, love God and your neighbor and probably God will save you.

well if you a sinner you have no businees calling yourselves annointed like(christians). which would be a form of blastphemy, and wheather you can see this or not is irrelevant. since the command is to repent and sin no more. you are not being annointed like if you are not adhering to this commands. which means you are nothing like Him at all, but just mearly playing games with His Annointed Name. and you can pretend you have done a better job than the failures the yehoodah have been. but your own words saying this, does not make this true according to the way G-D sees you all.

and even if you don't believe this. G-D does not see most all of you in this world as man, which is only defined as being realy true with G-D, actualy in TheTorah. you are being seen as human animals only, and not as mankind. those animals that were shanghied aboard the ark, in Parashas Noach, are not the kind of animals you are thinking of them as. the animal animals are concidered as all easily replacable by HIM. but a human girraff critter may not be seen as easily replacable as giraffe girraffs.

and the reasons why people fail, is because their belief is not realy in G-D. as it is in the subtle beasts of the fields. and if you merely say you believe in G-D, while believing in another team. even with time given to repent. it's certainaly liable to come back and bite you. for claiming you're with G-D when you're not actualy.

Thats right you are looked at...Thats why we have to be prepared to give an answer at all times..We are to show them something different than how they already are living..I know I am very human and make many mistakes,,I don't think I make as many as I did when I lived in sin cause I am more watchful now..but many are waiting for us to make mistakes so we can be look at and shamed..We are not of this world so we do not have to give answer to please man but make sure we are to give an answer to the Lord..

The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.

If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't perfect.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.

First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.

How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work?

It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.

One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.

Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.

If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.

If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.

How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.

Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.

If this is the case and we are perfect creations of a perfect God then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.

How likely is that????

Think about it.

The idea of sin is simple nonsense; a lie made up about God by religion.

US christians repeatedly attempt to stick their religious beliefs into the way we govern. The US is not and never will be a theocracy. You also judge others, label them, call their ways abominations, and condemn folks to hell for just being who they are. That's some pretty nasty name calling and cursing y'all do. It's not that anyone expects you to be perfect, it's if you are going to shove the Bible's rules in everyone's face, then y'all should be following them to the letter 'cause christians almost always are picking and choosing which versus to condemn others by while ignoring the ones that they don't like! It's called hypocrisy.

Not all christians are like this, but you my dear sound like the rather uninformed judging kind.

It will be partly because a percentage of christians - of the militant persuation are are very intolerant and constantly complaining about people for everything and saying you must to this, believe that, not be gay, or from another or no faith etc etc. Judgementalism works both ways....

Christians are expected to practise what they preach. Your religion doesn't say that sinning once in a while is good. It says sinning is bad, none allowed and such. Your roll model is Jesus, who many christians have claimed never once sinned in his entire life, it's expected that you will at least try to live up to the reputation of the man you claim died to save your soul.

It's good to hear you say that, but you wouldn't believe how many Christians go on and on about how they're sinless.

I totally understand that Christians aren't perfect, but I find that some hold non-Christians to standards that they themselves don't come anywhere close to.
