Everyone know the prime suspect of terorrism is religion. Why don't our top level religous leaders advice and block the spreading of terorrism. Next thing, war on terorrism is perfectly unworthy, because war kills only the people, but never root out their concepts. For example, Jesus Christ was crucified because of His popularity among the people. Eventhough He was crucified, His thoughts never ended and Christianity spread to the entire world.

I have been baptized, and I have asked Jesus in to my heart, but for some reason I feel as though I have not been Saved. Can anyone tell me why?

Wonder where God's mercy is at tragic times but then when times are good they tell God and christians and christian beliefs to stay out of their lives. The most used reply to why people dont believe in the bible or God is...if Our God is a caring God then why does he want people to suffer and for innocent people to die. He DOESN'T read the bible once. Most everybody who is having no problems in their lives push God away and want to sin and have their pleasures to themselves. But God will wake us up and show us that their is a price. God created hell not for us, but for satan and his angels, we choose wether we go there or not. ALL we have to do is try to stay true to his laws (the ten commandments) and trust that he will never turn his back on you and that he sent his only son to die on the cross to pay our debt for sinning. Being christian people must think that i think i dont sin and im better than they are, but i confessed to God that i know i am a sinner and that i need him.

Ok well i dont beleave in god and the bible. I beleave that the world was created by science.That means the "Big Bang" and all that other stuff. So is there a serperate relegion for it or am i still considerd atheist?

if they were separated from God while on Earth willfully. I've read that Hell doesnt need fire to make it hell. eternal separation is said to be the greatest(huge) punishment. To me it doesnt sound that bad. Could u explain to me how eternal separation is really more devastating than fire could ever be?

Whats the difference between being agnostic and Deist. Is it just the evolution prospect that is different? Both believe in a devine power but neither recognize any formed religeon. That is if I understand correctly if not please correct. Thanks for the answers.

is smoking considered haram? i know many who will say smoking cigarettes is haram and then spend their weekends smoking hookah (shishah, nargeelah). both are tobacco.... how could one be haram and the other not? if you can, please support your answer with quran, hadith, or quotes from scholars. peace and blessings to all

I have a question about my father. He treats me badly. He was never a good Christian role model. I know he loves me but he curses at me a lot and is verbally abusive to my mother and I. The other night, my girlfriend and I were at his house holding hands on the couch. I know this story sounds childish and stupid.. My girlfriend said something about the F- word being in the dictionary. I whispered in her ear and she playfully slapped me on the arm. I do not remember what I said, but it was not anything bad. We were just flirting with each other. My dad saw me and thought I had said the F-word to my girlfriend. My girlfriend is 19 and I am 22. He gave me a horrible dirty look and continued to glare at me for the rest of the night. I was mortified. My girlfriend was meeting my dad for the first time and she saw his looks and asked me later why he was so mad at me. When I told her, she was shocked, because I had not said anything wrong to her, my dad just thought I did.

There is no occurence of the phrase in the KJV bible. The new testament says quite explicitly, on several occasions, that we are not all sinners:
Romans 5:14 Death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned.
1 John 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not.
1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1 John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not.
3 John 11 He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
Yet, as with so many things, the NT is not consistent about this:
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1 John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

i'mean all religions starting with Judism,Christianity and finally Islam ,all tell to be peace with others i've many world wide frinds with different nationality and religions snd they are soooooooooo nice really and when we talk regarding religions even we are different but still we love each other and respect different openion , may be you will ask ur self why i'm writing such question , becouse i wanna all the ppl world wide each other we are all human and we are in one home(our plue plant (the Earth))at one sky , some times times when i imagine my self as a star looking from the space to this planet and think (if the ppl live on it are happy , live in peace )but when i return to the reality and remember the wars every where and bombs some times i feel i shouldn't move from home ,
but you know dear yahoos, my question actually to let us share ideas how to be peace with others , if u try to know other cultures and friends u will find them really kind ,

I just realized most of my misery happened because of the stupid negative things I said to girls I dated that which I regret always. Imagine having Power over God-to direct a god with the knowledge you have-ah sheeeet-too late-it is called science-but then when man writes about Gods other than yours-you call it science fiction-so you must admit-you have Power over Zues-Jupiter-Allah-Buddah-Jesus (depending on which one you believe in versus the ones you declare are fraud Gods)-One nation OVER GOD has a nice ring to it-now think about it!
