Wonder where God's mercy is at tragic times but then when times are good they tell God and christians and christian beliefs to stay out of their lives. The most used reply to why people dont believe in the bible or God is...if Our God is a caring God then why does he want people to suffer and for innocent people to die. He DOESN'T read the bible once. Most everybody who is having no problems in their lives push God away and want to sin and have their pleasures to themselves. But God will wake us up and show us that their is a price. God created hell not for us, but for satan and his angels, we choose wether we go there or not. ALL we have to do is try to stay true to his laws (the ten commandments) and trust that he will never turn his back on you and that he sent his only son to die on the cross to pay our debt for sinning. Being christian people must think that i think i dont sin and im better than they are, but i confessed to God that i know i am a sinner and that i need him.

There will be another terrible event to come soon, its not like nobody thinks otherwise..so be ready because the door is closing and when you see that news brief on the news ahead in the soon future and its worst than 9/11 (which was done by our own govt) just remeber this yahoo question and just think to yourself...But remember that the world will never end only the world as we know it, with sin.

Agree with you that people fail to see that God has always been there and he is merciful not only in bad times but all the time. Satan has blinded their eyes and they just can't seem to get over the fact that God wants all of them and not partially. Everything will get worse before its get better. 9/11 and natural disasters were only bee stings compared to what really is going to happen. I pray that I won't be here to find out!

Shalom

Human error and neglect have more to do with tragedies than God does.Or GOD is only carrying out the wishes of the souls involved as that was the time and way that they chose to die before they entered into physical incarnation to learn lessons. when the lessons are learned then God releases them according to their souls wishes.
Everybody has problems in their lives the ones that push God away are just ignoring that they have a problem that they can't fix on their own.

They don't see the balance in life if they question where God is at tragic times. Without good, there can be no basis for bad... without hate... there can be no compassion that leads to love. In bad times is when our souls reach out and sense a feeling of hope.. the inner workings that God has instilled in all of us.

Because people forget to thank God for their good fortune.

Remember when the Jews asked for a king. All the Kings failed, and as a result the Jews were punished. When the Jewa followed God's decrees they had good fortune. When they didn't he punished them. This is true even today with all of us.

Just remember Satan is alive and working just as hard ro bring us to his side.

i'm Christian, and I admit... I'm no better than anybody else out there. but i do my share... i pull my own load... and when the going gets tough, i seek guidance from Him. there are times i blame him for all the wrong that has happened... heck, i'm only human. but at the end of the day, i thank him for giving me an extra day to live and make full use of my life. at least i'm still in constant commmunication with my God.
