i want to make up my own religion how can i go about doing that can you name some religions and point out some of there beliefs and practices that you like for my new religion

It's easy. Go to an online church and get ordained. Then you can call yourself reverend - I've done this bit. It costs nothing. My next step is to become an abbot (that costs a couple of dollars). Then I intend to start a monastary of which, as abbot I will be in charge of. Monks in the middle ages grew their own crops, made their own wine and brewed their own beer. As part of my religious code, this beer should be of high quality and requires testing which will be carried out every Friday evening untill all of the beer is tested.
As an atheist, god does not play a part in my religion, only beer.

I think ALL religions have a base of good beliefs that founded them. Christianity is based on the love of one man unconditionally for all people.. Islam is based on the rememberance of God in every aspect of daily living.. Bhuddism is my personal favorite, although I don't claim a religion. It focuses on self awareness and developing peace and calm in every day.
