No, a faith should be "judged" by the beliefs it stands for. Some people call themselves believers but they want to do it on their own terms not God's (ie the KKK).

To a greater extent, NO. How the believers behave depend mostly on the religion teachers and leaders, and how well the believers (learners) can learn. That is closely related to intellectuality.
To a small extent, YES. A religion is learned through its history and holy book, for example, and when a verse in the holy book is like a poetry and does not give a literal meaning, the verse can be translated in as many ways as the teacher wants. And when a teacher wants to use it for his own benefits, especially if he says that he is speaking in the revelation of God.
Or if the holy book is written in a language that most people don't understand, the believers just rely on the information given by the leaders or teachers. Well, there will clearly be a lot of distortions.
A good believer will understand the importance of wisdom and wide horizon. If a believer just studies very limited amount about a religion from only very few teachers, he will be like a frog who lives in a secluded dustbin.

Absolutely not. All religion should be judged based on doctrinal proof. There will be hypocrites in any religion. The tares are sown with the wheat to discredit the religion. It is the enemy of souls that does the sowing. Too many people base their religion on feelings instead of facts. They look at the sinners in the church and want no part of it. Yet there have been sinners in every denomination. How does one choose? In the OT, Israel was the chosen people of God, not because they were particularly righteous. They were constantly falling into idolatry. But, because they had the most truth. They worshiped a living God, not the river Nile, or a fish, or dragon, or gods of wood or stone. They lost their special status when the rejected Christ. They no longer have the most truth.

It is never right to judge. That is not the reason we are here. We are to reflect upon what we learn. Learn what the religion or Spiritual school is all about. Take what truth we can from it and move on. Let each student move in the way that is best for their path. All we can do is be the best example that we can be. There is no wrong or right. However, what ever action we take, decides on what will come our way next.

The only way to make an accurate judgement of a religion is to study its Revelation and the life of its Prophet. Those are the only perfect aspects of religion. All else is imperfect and subject to error.

Don't the say "Show me your friends and I'll show you what you are?"
If a "Religion" has a long History of committing intolerant, bigoted genocides [extermination of the original Buddhist Mongols, extermination of the original Christian Turks, extermination of the original Parsi Iranians and such a long list]; hijacking planes, planting bombs in thickly populated civilian areas and flying planes into buildings and so on and so forth ... of course we'll all judge the Religion as Guilty.
After all, we can't keep "forgiving" them all the time, can we?

Becoze? Are you educated? How else would you judge religion (a product of humankind) if not for the behavior of it's believers (i.e. humankind)?

No,you can't judge the religion by it's believers. It's some thing like ,"Don't judge a person by his/her looks " or ,"Don't judge a book by it's cover."Although there are many Muslims that are "crazy minded",but there are many kind-hearted Muslims that invited me into their house here in Malaysia , maybe in Singapore.

The religion itself has nothing to do to the behaviour of its believers. It will all depands on individual's faith towards the God. A person with good faith will never commit a sin.
