do not follow the doctrine of christianity yet claim they are of that faith? Such as those who believe in reincarnation yet claim to be christian which does not support that. Or LDS and others who have a different doctrine yet insist they are christian.

Jesus always referred to himself as having been sent by God (John 17:3) and his followers, too, considered him a man approved BY God (Qur'an 19:37; Acts 2:22, John 3:2).
Jesus prayed to God like all other God-fearing individuals (Luke 5:16), and engaged in spiritual exercises such as fasting (Matt 4:2).
Furthermore, Jesus lacked knowledge of the future (Mark 13:32), as only the Divine Being possesses perfect and complete knowledge.
"And he (Jesus) went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed..."-(MATTHEW 26:39).

This one puzzles me most. If Christianity agree that Jesus is setting examples on how to pray then why Christians not follow it?

And, behold, one came and said unto him (Jesus), "Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?" And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is NONE good but One, that is God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the Commandments.-(MATTHEW 19:16- 1

Dont you know it doesnt matter what your opinion is or who you can convince?? Our society is so secular (removed from God) that we actually value an individual's opinion who was born in sin rather than the truth of God!! Why do you all think Christians are trying to get you to believe?? What do they possibly have to gain?? Could it not be that they simply love you and dont want to see your soul burn forever??

If you have any doubt, accept Jesus as your substitution for sin. We must be perfect before God, and we are not. But by leting Jesus take our place we are "saved" and will not pay for our sin. If i'm wrong, who cares? If I'm right, welcome to heaven. If i'm right and you ignore it, say hi to my old friends in HELL. It doesnt matter what you belive, it is there.

Jusrt say "Jesus I accept you. I am a sinner and I ask you to take my place as you died and bled for me. Write my name in the lamb's book of LIFE. I'm on my way to heaven. AMEN"

was that hard? BLESS U

We never asked to be created. Did He think it'd be worth it just to have followers?

Do you think there are enough Christians who would vote to amend the Constitution so that from now on our country could be based on Christian principals? We could teach ID in public schools and if they didin't like it, they could enroll their children in private secular schools. We could pray before a football game.

We live in a society so weighed down, so over-ruled by the need to have opinions on everything, soburdened by anxieties of life, by fears, by our chosen "stances". Everybody wants to judge, yet not be judged! "Don't judge me!" is the cry ... such a busy world, pushing for so-called freedom, and experiencing none!

When is the last time you just looked up into the endless blue, and just let it all go? .. separating yourself from the world around you, and knowing peace, knowing that your life doesn't have to be this endless rolling - from one "unnecessary, complicated disaster" to the next.
God made the sky blue, because He knew what the meaning of true freedom is!

..Just my thoughts for the day! Go outside and lose yourself in the sky! :o)

As a person of faith, I have come to the conclusion that the gates of heaven mark the entrances to the College of Eternal Knowledge, which has an ever-open enrollment policy and a board of admissions upon which I do not sit. You see, I think it would be presumptuous for me to think otherwise. What say you?
