As a person of faith, I have come to the conclusion that the gates of heaven mark the entrances to the College of Eternal Knowledge, which has an ever-open enrollment policy and a board of admissions upon which I do not sit. You see, I think it would be presumptuous for me to think otherwise. What say you?

i See your point, it is not the final judgement, but the judgement that each of us makes, about others beliefs.
so yes i do agree, until we do have eternal knowledge, let us refrain from judgement of others.

at least i hope that is what you meant

According to the Bible, the judgment is given to the Son. Anyone who do not believe in Jesus, has already been judged. Judgment has already been given while they are still here on earth. They already made their choice for their eternal destiny.

It's our responsibility as a Christian to share Jesus' message. Whether they accept it or not-- it's between them and God. God takes that burden away from us.

When the time comes that we face God, it's the rewards of what we have done to increase the kingdom of God that will be given to those who hang on to their faith in God to the end. People who were willing to be used by God to fulfill His plans and purposes for each one of us. They run a good race in their faith in God.

But the sure thing is there will be JUDGMENT day to each and everyone of us. All of us will die-- whatever people do to prolong their lives, to find the fountain of youth are all in vain. God is in control of His creation and everyone, no matter what they believe here on earth, will finally know who God really is in death.

The Dean of Admissions into Heaven is Jesus, and He paid my tuition with His Blood.

The admission policy is you must accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and take up your cross and follow Him to gain entrance.

I agree and disagree.

I agree that it is not up to me who goes to heaven and who goes to hell. I understand that the only salvation I can work out is my own, but that I cannot save myself. I ask the Son of God for mercy and salvation, and I enter into his mystery, working out the "details" of my salvation and transformation through his mercy. I carry God's Word to others, that salvation is available to them too if they accept it.

That said, Jesus was very clear: that there is no way to God the Father but through him. Those who choose not to have faith in Jesus as the Savior of the world...it is not on my authority but on Christ's that makes it appear that they will not reach the Father.

Still, Jesus also said, in response to "Who then can be saved?", that "Things which are not possible with man are possible with God." Which means, ultimately, that another person's salvation is between them and God.

Yes. Praise the Lord.
Everything paid in advance and that too freely through God's pure grace.

God alone knows the condition of people's hearts and decides based on their choice to accept His Son or not. Thankfully we are not in charge of who gets in or not.

How is that about judgment? Judgment is when God tries all souls and either says "Welcome to the family of God," or "Depart from me. I never knew you."
