The word Angel means Messenger, they were created before us and like God are pure spirits with free will, and Angelic powers of higher intellect than man, and no they cannot do everything God can do, but love to do anything God asks them to do.

they are spirits, as in not made of formed matter, but still have consciousness
Yes they have a very large amount of power, as they can appear before men, and preform miracles.
however they can not do all that god can do, AKA they cannot create a universe, remember God created all the angels, so its unlikely that they have the same power as their creator

Yes. they are all around you. They are servants of God and can only do what he directs them to do. They are not all-powerful. The Bible is very clear on this in God's handling of Satan, a fallen angel.

Angels are beings created by God to do what God wants done. whatever that is... Thay have those powes God gives them to carry out the tasks He gives them... there were some who thought they could do as God did... lucifer was the leader of a third of the angels who sought to overthrow God... they got their butts kicked out of Heaven... lucifer is now known as satan and the fallen angels as his workers...
