As a culture we must move away from relative truth and begin to realize that truth is only based on God's Word. Accept Jesus now, because God's Word is true.

You know, it's people like you who are getting everyone into wars. Just because some one doesn't believe in god, or believes in god in a different way, you get all over them. YOUR BELIEFS ARE NOT SHARED BY EVERYONE!
I don't believe anything religious, and I BELIEVE in evolution, and science rather then praying to some "force" that has never shown itself. But I don't go around trying to convert everyone and tell them they will burn in hell if they don't believe in what I believe.
Words from an atheist.

Pride is a huge part of the reason people don't want to believe. When we give our life to God we are letting Him take control of our life in everything we do. We put our trust completely in Him. Pride stops people because they don't want to submit to a higher power so they convince themselves it doesn't exist. Satan is not stronger than God, but he is stronger than people. People also don't want to change their ways. It's so much easier to sin for most, because they don't have God in their lives. When we say you are born a sinner, people think we're crazy, but it's true. We have to teach even a baby right from wrong. We are all born with an inclination to do what is not right and parents are here to teach us the right way. I was raised in a Christian home so I was taught from the very beginning. A lot of people aren't and it's up to us to show them in our daily lives how wonderful God is and what he does for us. We need to show people how awesome God is and what He does for us in our everyday lives. Good luck and God bless you.

Grace(not Law) unto you, and peace(not division),
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
It's ppl like you, who law impute sin and death for the hell of it, and love sacrifice(slaughter, bloodshed), that turns other ppl off the Bible. Has it not occured to you law imputing sin imputes sin to all, make none righteous, no, not one; And God is one, God and Son are one, we all are one; But not one proselyte like you.
I would have you re-read the Bible and see for yourself God never desired sacrifice for sin, nor ever took pleasure in it. For the will of God is: I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, which is noted in Ps 40:6; Ps 51:16; Hos 6:6; Mt 9:13; Mt 12: 7; Heb 10. So the not part is not then, not now, not ever.
You need to get beyond Jesus: division and not peace thereof, to Christ: the end of the law is our peace who abolished the law. To wit: that God was in "Christ" reconciling the world unto himself(light void of darkness: grace void of law), not in Jesus alienating the world God so loved.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

why are christians trying to convince themselves that a book written by men thousands of years ago contains "the word of god" and then why do they try to convince themselves that by threatening us with hell to also believe in this book they are actually doing us a favor instead of wasting our time with their nonsense

Christians don't know this but the Bible was WRITTEN BY MAN!! (It's true) It's just the "inspired word" of God.
Think about it --- The "KJV":
Who is it dedicated to?
When was it written?
How did society treat each other back then?
Out of all of the Bible, Why were there only 3 maybe 4 women involved? (Eve, Ester, Ruth, and Mary.)

That's just what you are trying to do. Wanting ppl to believe what you do. It's not our duty as Christians to threaten others with hellfire. We can tell others about our religion, if they are interested. If they are not, we stop. Love and respect is our duty if we live life according to Jesus.

It is okay to not believe the bible. You need to learn and respect that others worship differently than you do.
Just because you think your religion is the only one doesn't make it true. I won't try to convert you and you extend me the same courtesy.

You really have to stop forcing your beliefs down people's throats. I would never think of saying to anyone "how dare you believe in God, I hope you burn" so you shouldn't do it to others. Isn't your God supposed to be the only one who can judge?
