I have recently had experience when i became a member way too quick, then I realized that the church wasn't for me when it was too late. I visited a wonderful church today and had such a beautiful time, but I don't want to jump and just join without getting a sense of the ministry and their vision. What is your opinion? And, I will not entertain or acknowledge any advice from the ungodly, sorry, my Bible tells me not to ,so Christians who are saved only!!!Pls :)

It seems to be that I keep coming across Wiccans who preach love and exceptance, but also condem anyone who is solitary. They claim that they are not true Wiccans, but just sexually deprived christains. Isn't this just like christians comparing you to a satanist? Just because you dont have a coven doesnt mean that you do not share the same books, beliefs, practices, and rituals as other Wiccans. What if you have left a coven, then are you automaticaly a christian?

I do understand that there are many pretenders, and those who are just searching for their own path. But for those who have found Wicca their path, who is it to say they are not what they believe in? There are so many different types of Wicca. It seems some reverting to the view that my path is the only way, and if you dont follow it then you are condemed. Isn't this why so many left Chritianity? Considering half of Wiccans are currently soiltary, I believe Solitary Wiccan is a vaild title.
Okay my rant is over thanks.

what is the most valuable lesson you have learned? And do you apply it to everyday life?

As a pagan I have learned tolerance and patience, also love and peace. I apply what I learned on an every day basis, some days are harder than most however ;)

The idea that gentiles are practically Mongoloids. This kind of chauvinism is just as unhealthy as antiSemitism.

If you have, what was it like? Were you hoping they would visit you? Or were you surprised?

The old yogis say through meditation it is possible to levitate in space and gain the power to reach everywhere. Will our journey outward be better conducted by going inward?

It's a lie, they don't even know you. If they actually loved you they would care what you thought, felt and believed in, and love you the way that you are instead of trying to change you.

What did you think about it!?

2006-10-29 07:13:40 · 1 answers · asked by David 2

I don't get it. Its sad to see everyone in conflict with themselves. Just say "Jesus I am a sinner, take my place and write my name in the Lamb's book of life. I'll see you in heaven. AMEN"

It took 2 seconds of your life. I'm not asking you to join a church or think like me. Just in case I'm right, say it. If i'm wrong who cares? If I'm right and you ignore me, say Hi to my old friends in HELL.

I LOVE YOU. I want you to live after you die. I dont care what you do or think on earth. I'm not trying to change anything. Why is that so offensive??

I LOVE YOU ALL

please let me know if anyone says this little prayer so i can have a reason to rejoice today!

World, almost 1000 conferences a year all over the world, but other religions only have yearly conferences, attended only by select few members from each church, and generally, only in the U.S.?

As a cab driver, I frequently transport passengers in town for religious conferences. The cab drivers hate it when JWs are in town because they don't go out to the night clubs/bars, or shopping in the upscale clothing areas, like the other religions. I hear the same stories on the cab driver network, from other cities around the world. Some tourism groups have tried to get places like Kemper arena in KCMO, to stop renting space for the JW conferences, because they don't contribute to tourism.

Do the other religions not want all their members to attend religious conferences? Wouldn't it benefit them for their members to meet other members, from all over the region, and world. on a yearly basis?

i know that you are caring loving people, (and very heporitacal)
but you are trying to save the world and that is very kind ans selfless of you, and on behalf of every one that has not, i thank you but you must learn if we say no dont push it on us because all you will do is push us farther away from christ.
just be there when we are ready to come to christ dont bring him to us. and once agaiun thank you for being nice, good people :)

John 10 "Jesus saith, the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep."

it was prophecied in Isaiah 52:13-53:12 He will be exaulted. He will first be marred more than any man. All we like sheep have gone astray and the Lord will make to light on him the iniquity of us all."

And he comes to give us as the Psalm 23 shepherd- life more abundantly-John 10 what does that mean to you-have you let him become your personal shepherd yet-that makes a difference-what does John 10 mean to you??

I mean, what would be eviler than having a world full of people believing they will go to Heaven by doing good deeds and believing in God, but instead, these people go to Hell for being good? And the bad ones live eternity well?
