I was wondering what you tell your child after someone dies. Are you honest with them about your beliefs? Do you tell them that is all? I'm really curious about this and don't mean this as a loaded question. Someone in my family recently passed and I helped explain it to my neice and nephew who are 5 and 6 and I just wondered how you would explain it to a child. Please let me know if you have had the experience and how the child reacted.

Thank you for the insight.

out of the millions of species that inhabit this planet we are the only ones that belive in a supreme being of some sort or another, we also belive we are the only intelligent life here but i person belive this is because we cant communicate with any other species or a level other than absolute basic (ie fetch or sit). big cats in africa spend hours sitting around forming relationship, primates have social bonds far more complicated than humans if your remove technologies, dolphins can understand a lot more of our communication than we can of theres, if you take away our technologies we are nothing more than prey/predators about halfway up the food chain. so why do we when no other species on the planet belive in a being which there is no non man made proof off? note there is also no proof that we are the only self aware species on the planet

Look around, in the natural world, we see "evolution" never happening, things are deteriorating, not advancing. God said that when sin entered the world, things would deteriorate and they ARE. And another thing about evolution and the creating of the planets, where did the gravity come from that packed the non-existant dust together to create suddenly molten rock planets that float around in suddenly existant space?

Some may say 'Ignoramus', but that implies being ignorant, or unknowing. Some might say 'Moron', but that implies that you are not at fault by reason of being mentally deficient.
"Creationist" implies a hypocrite who ignores every single piece of scienctific evidence, often, while using the fruits of scientific discovery, to spread his lies and deception. It implies a foul fellow who is willing to blithely place their trust in a religious text which has no science in it. It implies a fool who puts their trust in people who have an agenda to lie and decieve for their own aggrandisement. Is there any more foul insult than calling someone a creationist?

Where is your evidence to prove it?

How do you know that God wants us to live?

How do you know that?

Maybe God is waiting for us in heaven?

I know my spiritual gift is prophecy. This past year, I have really felt the weight of carrying this anointing. I have dreams about things before they happen and a lot of times I feel troubled long after I wake up from the dream. I don't always know the meaning of the dreams right away. Sometimes I feel bad about complaining because it is a gift. I'm interested in hearing the experiences of people with all spiritual gifts, but especially people with the gift of prophecy.

Why do some religions think they can determine what a person should do every minute of their life. Why dont they live the life they have been given now and stop thinking about, what may never happen.

This sounds egotistical I know. But our Creator helped me to
overcome my pride, by showing me that people tell us we're full of it, and then turn around and use our ideas themselves. Except
they think they came up with it themselves!
That's okay with me. I'm not seeking glory.
