Most people will say that the first coming of Christ was upon the occasion of His incarnation on Earth. I would tend to agree.

But here's a different take on the Second Coming: the mystic, Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772), says the Second Coming has already occurred:

"One of Swedenborg's premises is that the Second Coming has taken place - and in fact still is taking place. The Second Coming is not an actual physical appearance of the Lord, but rather His return in spirit and truth..."

I'm not a Swedenborgian, but just thought I'd add that in as an alternative viewpoint, as many people do share his beliefs.

When God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to earth 2006 years ago-- that was the first coming of Christ. He spent 33 and a half years on this earth and the last 3 and a half He spent preaching salvation to the lost. Then he was crucified and on the third day God raised Him from the dead. He spent 40 days on the earth after this with His disciples and then ascended back up to heaven. He will come again in the same manner, out of the sky, to carry His children home. His children are all those that are saved, that believe that Jesus Christ came to earth, and died on the cross for our sins and rose again to sit at the right hand of the Father which is in Heaven!!!! It's really an awesome thing!!!

God Bless You!

Hello, have you ever heard of the VIRGIN BIRTH? Of Christ? Of Christmas? That's why Christmas is celebrated, because of Jesus' birth on earth. And then on Easter was when he was crucified and arose from the grave on the 3rd day.

Have you even read a Bible? Surly you know these simple things!
Well they aren't simple happenings, or simple to us Christians, but, they are common knowledge.
