Well, pray about it. Christianity is the correct religion because it follows Jesus. However there are several ifferant branches of Christianity, so how do we know which is right???? Its simpler than you think.
Jesus founded a church. Which church? The one he gave to the apostles, and the one they implemented. The Catholic Church. Every Bishop has had the power of the apostles to forgive sins handed down to them through apostolic succession. Many manymanymanymanymany people foget this. Or jsut never knew.
I hope this heped you out. Just pray about it, and be open to the truth, and you will find it.
God bless,
Shane

Rest your Case---on the Bible and the Holy Spirit.
Religions cannot Save you.
You are Aready Born-Again, so now you need to have the Right Attitude (no matter What church building or What name is on that building) when you decide to Visit a Meeting of the Children of GOD to decide if you want to come back next week.
This is the Attitude I Take when Visiting: "WHAT DID GOD SAY" after the Meeting is Over with.
If I Don't HEAR GOD, I probably won't go Back.
Pray and Ask GOD to Lead and Guide You to a building, where a Meeting is agoing on where YOU can HEAR WHAT GOD SAID------(hint) GOD will never Say Something in a Meeting that won't Match WHAT THE BIBLE SAID, when you get back Home to Check it Out.
Hope this Helps.

Read 1 John 4:1, Isaiah 8:20, and Galatians 5:22.
The Bible is our only source of knowing who God's true church is. Bear in mind that if you come to find a more meaningful relationship with God, He will guide you to the correct church. He takes care of His children, and when He sees that one is truly making an effort to come closer to Him, He will help them.
Do not worry! The Lord will reveal to you the truth, just continue searching and trusting in Him. Also, do not trust that your church is the true church simply because they say they are.Read Proverbs 3:5-6, Psalm 23, and Matthew 5:48. These verses tell that if we trust in God and give it all to Him, He'll show us the way and lead us into spiritual perfection. Don't let anyone tell you that is impossible, because God can make you holy and pure, but only if you let Him take the wheel.
Read Matthew 19:26, this is a very encouraging verse.
The Lord is coming, He is coming very soon. Every spare moment needs to be spent in prayer and study of God's word, for it will soon become a crime to be a true Christian (Read Revelation and Daniel). We need to make our paths straight and ask God to abide in our lives. Does your church show the true fruits of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22)? If not, then they are NOT God's chruch.
God bless you, I will pray that you find the truth. If you have any questions, just e-mail me. (By the way, I am Seventh day Remnant, we have online fellowship if you want to come in some time): http://remnantofgod.net/pogm-conf.htm

READ the Holy Bible King King James -
God almighty is one; he came down in the flesh and become Jesus - there is only 1 God but many many religions - Jesus is coming back for THE "CHURCH" says in the bible - meaning Christians - pray and ask the Lord to lead you to a church that teaches the truth- the truth is the word of God ; not human opions* God bless you and don't let this keep you from the Lord - Jesus yearns to talk with you and have a personal relationship with you - he loves YOU so very much -I always say Jesus does'nt care what you where to church just so you go - meaning just visit Him whether it be in a church or at your bedside - talk with Him (everyday) He's listening*

This is really a hard question to answer because this gives us a chance to speak up and tell you why our religion is right or why another religion isnt.
I did notice one thing tho you said which one is right, meaning you feel that one of them...is right. Not all in their own way.
I suggest you read up on the main religions: Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Then do a research on philosophies like Buddhism, Taoism and such.
Keep in mind that philosophies are not necessarily religions. Theyre just thought patterns people like to apply in order to enhance life.
All in all, being in search might seem painful at times, but its the only way you can find light.
Peace

Look in 1 John 4:1, It says, "Try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. If you are truly saved, and I know what you mean by this, if you pray the Holy Spirit will direct you in the way you are to go and will tell you which is false and which is true.

ALL who come to God in The Way He proscribes and receive His free gift of Salvation are "saved". Man invented "denominations have nothing to do with it...But they can keep many from knowing The Way to come to God. No man doctrin or dogma can save any one... the relationship of God to His people is one-on-one and personal...Here is a link to a page I call All different Flavors... it might be of interest... feel free to look over the rest of the site if you like... I have a page called Who is a Christian also... and others.

None, truly, religion was invented to put fear in you and to make you obsses about your own actions and of course to give money away, all of them try to explain the same thing "be a good person", but that doesn't mean you need religion to be a good person, you can be a good person on your own. God does not exist but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to be better people.
This is why you see so many Christians, catholics, Baptists, Scientologist being murderers, rapists, molesters and etc, religion puts guilt in their actions yet they can't stop, the extreme points of view like religion are exactly that, extreme: don't have sex (priests)- result: child molester.
Don't pay attention to religions, just try to be the best you can be.

I am the same as you, raised bapt and wondering. I have read everything about other religions I could and have figured this much out. Every religion thinks it's the true one. My opinion is that most of them started out as the same, but as the people spread out they adapted to their needs. Think of this, when religion started the accepted way of keeping record was by word of mouth. How many times has it changed before it was written down? Good luck in your quest. I am still searching and will always keep a open mind.

We can all say "my religion is the best" others will say "there is no god"....you will remain lost.
I'm afraid non can help you. I am happy with my religion, but you will not understand me since you don't believe in it. The same goes for others. Why are you away from God? It shows you believe in Him, that's a good start. Study religions and embrace the one you feel is right. You are the decider.
