god was created by men who had suffered terrible tragedies and needed to know that there was someone out there watching over then who could explain why these things happened, even if they had to wait till they were dead to get there answers.
alternatively you could say god was created by kings/rulers/leaders to instill fear in there populations there by removing the need for huge police forces to make the people obey the rule of law created by the king/ruler/leader

God walked the earth many years ago and he is ur path to heaven he is here to watch over us and protect of and i am offended of such a question he is awsome i love him with all my heart it u want to go to heaven just say thid prayer ............... In my opinion,
God is Love
God is formless but you can think of him as a being who loves everybody unconditionally.
He is everywhere, in everything.
He is eternal, he did not originate.
He is here to guide us and help us.
