Is it because they need hope and purpose, Is it because we believe that we are so much more than we really are - animals just like the rest of the living creatures. And at what point were we given the right to yes and no - who or what gave us that - BELIEFE???!!!

Everyone that lived before Muhammad -- are they all going to hell because they didn't have the Qur'an? If the Qur'an is the "real" truth from God, then why didn't God give the Qur'an to Moses, instead of the Torah? Why did he wait until as "recently" as the 7th century to "correct" things? If the Bible is false, then why would God allow mankind to live through centuries being "decieved" by the Bible, before "fixing" it in the 7th century?

I am a member of a path that is not a mainstream idea. I would like to share it with people in a manner that is respectful and comfortable for other people. Today I read that a muslim cleric said that women who don't cover themselfs are nothing more than meat lying in the open to be ate by animals. Therefore they are to be blamed when they are raped!---
The only logic conclusion is that Muslim men cannot control themselfs sexually. That means they degrade themsels to Animal status. ---
I fear for all the free women in this world who through their contribution to society try to make this world a better place.
So are muslim men all rapists?

The book of the Bible, Ezekiel, chapter eighteen, verse twenty states: The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous man will be credited to him, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against him. (New International Version of the Bible). This Bible verse clearly states that infantile babtism is wrong, therefore, why do Catholics continue to pursue this extremely unbiblical act?

2 Muslims I know said that People of the Book with sincere faith will go through a "fire of purification" and can go to Heaven. One also said there are different levels to Hell in Islam and that some people may not suffer in Hell but still be separated from God. Is this so?

in the Book of Ecclesiastes, Solomon has a tone of being pesimistic, in his view of the vanity of life. When he was king and was given wisdom, wealth and power of all the rulers of the land, he sees that the life of the sons of men are subject to futility.
Why is that?

Its true, isn't it? If someone posts a question, and a Christian tries to answer, and makes reference to their faith, they get shot down in flames!!

Another example is when someone, who seems interested in the Christian faith, asks a question, and then non-Christians, to whom it is none of their business (that isn't gramatically correct but I didn't know how to say it) answer and condemn Christians, for example, one person said 'Stay away from churches, they're all evil' when the asker had asked what church to go to.

So why is this? I need genuine reasons, and none of that 'they come calling round my house' nonsense.

Oh and by the way, I'm a Christian myself.
