I would tell my child that I love him(one of my godson's is gay) and that this is not the life that I would have chosen for him. I would tell him what I expected of him in my home, and that I am praying for him. I would also tell him that since he has chosen a lifestyle that is outside of the "norm" that he is responsible for his actions and that he must remember that some people will be mean and possibly even mean him and his partner harm. I would definitely continue to love him and be a part of his life.

I'm not a Christian...but I hope you don't mind me answering...
Many great people were homosexual...Leonardo Da Vinci...Elton John...
Your child is special and NOT "CONDEMNED BY THE LORD" as many would choose to call it. You should let your child go on and get married with that other gay person if it is that which makes him/her happy...i'm 13 and i really don't know if my answer is gonna mean anything to you...

This would never happen in my home as I have brought my children up in church and they know that homosexuality is a sinful, disgusting act.

If their grown, there's nothing you can do about it, but pray for them, but my child would still be welcomed at my house, but his "partner" wouldn't. I do not agree with homosexuality and I would not have it in my home. My child could come home and visit me yes, but partner, no, he would not be welcomed in my house.

Love your child, but don't "condone" their sin. Let God be the judge of their sin at Judgement Day, and keep telling them truth until then.
