Some people don't believe in heaven and hell, so therefore, they won't go to hell. Just because you read the bible and learn, doesn't mean that anyone will believe it. Besides, not everyone here is non Christian.

It is Satans plan to draw people away from God. One way that he does this is to misrepresent Hell. He tells people that it is not all that bad.... and that Jesus is a lyer and a fool. When in fact Hell is the furthest place from God, and it is a place of suffering of every kind. as for the comment about it being good to be bad, that is a comment i will publically scorn! People trust the conscience that God has placed in you, and it will lead you back to him. when you read your Bible read it with an open heart, the mind is the devils playground and complicates things. When you read, first pray and ask God to highlight what it is in the scripture that he wants you deal with. Remember to read out of the word and not into it...

True, I agree with you. Everyone should read the Holy Bible. Even if they do not believe in the Bible or do not agree with it, they should still read it for educational purposes. I do not think that people want to go to hell instead of heaven. I think everyone wants to have a good life and a good afterlife.

What does it matter? When we die, we all go to 'hell', I mean, it IS only the grave, after all. You'll go, I'll go, the Pope'll go, Castro'll go. No biggie.
Come judgement day, we'll wake up and find out if we will be allowed into God's new paradise earth because we've earned it, or because we are being given a chance to truly learn about him as we never got the chance to in our lives. Others will have already let their stand on Jehovah be made known and will be sent to destruction. No, not a fiery hell of torment forever, just a simple 'cutting off' , a ceasation of life. Knowing nothing more.
Those allowed to learn of Jehovah and his love and gifts will be given a 1000 time period to make up their minds whether they want to serve him or not. During that time, satan and co. ( his demons ) will be locked away and unable to influence the earth, so no crime, violence, pain, suffering or death or sickness will be on the face of the earth. At the end of that 1000 year period, he and co. will be let loose on the earth again for a short period to 'bring down' as many as they can. And many many will fall!! But, after that shorrrrrt time, those that turn, Satan and co. will all be thrown into a fiery lake (symbolic for a total destruction) and never be heard from again. No torment, just total destruction. So you see , it is entirely up to GOD to decide who goes to Heaven and that number has already been chosen, 144,000. The rest that will be allowed to live in a paradise earth are still to be decided upon, its not too late to be one of those!

But as for deciding that EVERYONE on here wants to go to HELL, who are YOU to decide? Deciding you want God's job now? Personally... I wouldn't presume to think that much of myself....

I was brought up to be a good person and know right from wrong...not everyone needs a book to read!!! I think the bible works for certain individuals that might need it...but I get so sick of people telling me that if I don't read it, I'm going to hell......I'm a very good person and I owe none of it to the bible. I am not an atheist.

I remember thinking several years after I got saved that, and I am being very honest here, (the devil of course whispered this to me) I may not be totally happy in Heaven singing God's praises 24 hours a day. Concerned, I talked to a pastor and he explained that once we are in Heaven the lusts of the flesh, whatever they maybe (lust, love of money, ungodly amibition, etc.) would not be in Heaven. Only our spirit goes to Heaven. AND OUR SPIRIT BELONGS TOTALLY TO GOD. We will be in perfect peace. The Bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with Christ.

Heaven and hell are very real. God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit exist. God loves us so very much that He sent His Son to die for us. The devil hates us because, before he was cast down out of Heaven God loved him. He tried to cause a rebellion and become God, God cast him and 1/3 of the angels in Heaven who chose to join him out. He spends all of his time tempting us just like he tempted Jesus and whispering lies in our minds, for he is a liar and the Father of All Lies. The Bible is a owner's manual for us. Read it. The Bible says there is pleasure in sin for the moment, but the wages
(payment) of sin is (eternal) death. Before we come to God we are great sinners and having a great time at it. So, satan using his wiles, whispers, why on earth would you want to go to heaven with all those boring, do gooders, he lies to us. Hell is where the Bible says there is much suffering and the nashing of teeth.

Because Christ went there and the only people who think they aren't going there must think they are better than Christ.

Actually, Hell is just the common grave, but than the word hell or hell fire is not found in the oldest scrolls of the Bible. It was added later by people who wanted to exert control over others.

Some of us are not afraid of hell. It seems like a method to control us by instilling "fear". If you are "bad" you will go to hell. Hell, I think hell is going to be awesome...like the best afterparty EVER!

plus who really wants to sing in the choir for eternity?

Really everyone in the world does not believe in heaven and hell and......if you not afraid of it....why not?

Plus the whole idea is absurd.....eternal pain and suffering.....seriously....there is no pain without pleasure...it would just be hot and unbearable for like the first week or so, after that we would be like....i don't need water anyway.....wheres the tequila.....i've had a hangover the whole time I've been here so screw it, I'm gonna get drunk.

I'm just saying......obviously heaven is not for everyone so, some of us are just dealing with the reality of our situation....hell might not be so bad so why be scared.

......I'm sitting by my friends anyway

yeah.I agree with u!unfortunately in today society the only thing which isn't important is religion!today people really don't consider religion as an important issue so they won't read Bible or think about it!when they don't think about it,so it's not important for them to think about whether they'll go to Hell or Heaven!
