He was even afraid to take airplane flight. It was too dangerous for him. All atheists will become believers of God within five minutes after they die. They will have to face to face with truth.

God speaks to me and leads me and tells me what to do. My calling in life is praying for the sick. God won't leave me alone until I do what He tells me to do. Does anyone else ever experience things like this? My God is awesome and I know all things are possible through Him. I've seen many divine healings. He healed me from sin. I was nothing but a drunk and had no future at all. Then God saved my soul and He's been my boss/leader ever since.

I understand you cannot prove G-d exists, but what rpoof is there tha he does exist other than the bible says so I am not asking this to be accusatory, I am really curious to see if people have other more personal reasons.

I hear this phrase so often from Christians and it just irritates me because it is NOT found in the Bible. God helps those who wait on Him, not those that go out gung ho without listening to His direction.

At some point in the past, I would think most of the Atheists on Y!A had Christian ancestors, maybe grandfathers, grandmothers...or further back.

Is it correct to assume that?

I'm not trying to offend anyone. I just want to get my facts straight...

I have a coworker who is about 20 years old and I'd like to get him a Jewish gift. He has recently joined the military and is away from home, living in the dorms. I don't know him all that well, but I would really like to give him a very special collectible of some sort....but not sure what he would really like....any 20 year old Jewish guys out there willing to give me some ideas?? Price isn't a deterrent. Thank you!

It seems as if he's been telling me to stay there, but then again, it might just be my own imagination. Anyhow, I work in a local supermarket, and I'm absoultely miserable! I get up every day in
a bad mood, and I just feel like screaming! I have prayed about it over and over again, but I always seem to get the answer: "Stay there--I have you there for a reason". Does God want me happy or not? I understand that God doesn't always care about us being comfortable, but if this is what he really wants, then I want nothing to do with him anymore. Can somebody please help me? No skeptics, please.

have no problem doing "extracurricular activities" with Atheists, yet they'll then say they'd never date/etc.... an Atheist for whatever religious reason.

Is it the bad boy aspect that makes the fun stuff even more fun?

My friend has always been EXTREMELY religous growing up. He wanted to be a preacher and travel around to show people christianity. We he went to college to study about religon and came back a completely different person. He said he learned the history and science behind christianity and became a complete atheist. He said he learned christianity was the biggest conspiracy the world has ever seen. He is also upset with his parents and he blames them for brainwashing him. He buried himself in christian studies fo 4 years and was blown away from what he learned. Very strange isnt it?
