have no problem doing "extracurricular activities" with Atheists, yet they'll then say they'd never date/etc.... an Atheist for whatever religious reason.

Is it the bad boy aspect that makes the fun stuff even more fun?

C-Nice44,

It should be pretty obvious what "activities" I mean.

As for Jake's answer, I think those he "dated" didn't understand what being a Christian was all about.
By "extracurricular activities" I thought at first in my innocence you were referring to after school stuff!!!!!! However if you are referring to sexual activity, and then saying they do not date nonbelievers, then they are being the biggest hypocrites.
A committed Christian will usually not marry a person who does not share their commitment, because they believe marriage to be total commitment to one another and that can be very awkward if the center of one's life is Jesus Christ, in a very real way, and the centre of the other's life is, for example, materialism. Also, the whole value system might be different. Very hard to make a family work successfully, depending on how you understand family life.
Now to date someone regularly whom you know ahead of time you could never marry - well, isn't that leading someone on in a hypocritical fashion? I certainly wouldn't recommend it. It can be very cruel as well.

An atheist would be a true Christian girl's waste of time.
Dating is supposed to be a means to select the man you will marry and spend the rest of your life with, and a Christian girl cannot marry an atheist. The Bible states that a believer and a non-believer cannot marry, so it would be pointless to date an atheist.

Some religious peolpe may fear evil influence, because the attempt to deny God is really the greatest threat of harm to the soul. Some others may not care. Others of very strong faith may boldly dating with the atheists with the hope to convert them.
No, there is not at all any fun in denying God.

What "activities" are you talking about? And a lot of people say they are something without out actually living it, its the American way. Through personal experience I have found church girls to be the biggest undercover freaks around.

there are probable in basic terms as many motives as there are women who sense this way. in basic terms beware of those who're wanting to rework you, and also you'll be advantageous. the more youthful they are, the further likely it is that their Christianity is really because it is what they were taught. Now they are getting the right age to attempt to imagine for themselves. also, Christian adult males make poor fanatics, with all that guilt and hypocrisy.

I don't think it's about the "bad boy" image. Christians just don't realize how much they might like an atheist even though they preach how they would never get involved with them.

It's the bad boy thing. That is where the term "Catholic school girls" came from (and before someone tells me I'm wrong, I'm one of them).

I never really use religion as a reason to date/not date somone. That's a really lame excuse.

Maybe the Christian girls you meet are still baby babies in their faith. Either that or they are wishy washy, which the Lord doesn't approve of.
