The most bloodthirsty verse in the Quran:
[9:5] Once the Sacred Months are past, (and they refuse to make peace) you may kill the idol worshipers when you encounter them, punish them, and resist every move they make. If they repent and observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), you shall let them go. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

Is it true that a man Mohammed went into a cave and just came out with a book and said it was from God and that's the whole basis of the religion. I am not trying to be facietious or demeaning in any way. I just what to know and don't want to ask my Muslim friends.

What sparked this movement to hide your faith. If ppl want to wear religous symbols why shouldn't they. What harm would it do to the next person? I want to know why ppl cant wear crosses and veils if they want to? Why cant all religions be treated the same? Yes some religions are permitted to have nosepiercings but others are not. Most ppl with too many piercings look damn stupid and scary too, so keeping that under control is understandable (where airhostesses are concerned, that is)

How can we be sure of anything that is invisible/non-existent? What is the point of arguing about gods and spirits if it is all just based on your faith? Are the invisible/non-existent entities (God,spirits, demons, goblins, fairies etc.) actually just our slaves ready to act on our demands?

Why, why not?
