were stopping kids from the opposite faith from walking to school through their area. Then 9/11 happened. What I'd like to know is if the situation is still ongoing or whether the stupid cows (I can't use stronger language otherwise it'd be censored) got what they deserved?

I discussed the theory of religion(Christanity, Islam, Hindoo, Budhism, Jews, Sikh etc) with concerned ppl.everybody tells u their religion is the Best.I acknowledge this thing too that theoratical they r equally best.
BUT i found that ppl who defend their religion with hardline/softline
never practically follow it.they just satisfied themselves to tell other ppl their religion is the Best?
How do u find out about this? They r all almost in same boat.
Nobody follow it 100 percent in life. its my observation from last 10 years.

There are so many ways to believe in the same source of a higher power(god) Why is it that one has to be right or wrong? What if just by believing, and respecting a higher power, whether that is nature, jesus, mary, Karma,(god) that it is enough. Does it have to be a matter of right or wrong, when right or wrong is different subjectively. Yes there is a moral concensus, but just because it is the concensus does that mean it is right?
Please only respectful answers, I am not challenging anyones faith, I am just merely suggesting perhaps we should all respect all beliefs,no matter how different they may be.

Mav started thinking about Christmas. Mav's family doesn't eat ham at Christmas, Mav's girl offspring doesn't eat pork.
Mavs girl offspring ask her, "Why do people eat ham on the day we celebrate Jesus' birthday? Jesus wouldn't eat it, Jesus was a Jew."
Mav didn't have an answer for that.
Do you?

What does heaven look like, will we still be Americans when we get there and will we still be able to beat up on angles from other countries and blow up their clouds with tactical nucks? And at the moment should i prey for or to Bush?

Having spent some time studying Luke's gospel, I am finding more and more of a distinct separation between the terms "Heaven" and "Kingdom of God" as referring to two separate ideas; the latter being what is promised to mankind with the former being where God is. What's more, the prospect that Luke's Jesus made no promise to his followers of their (rather than his own) resurrection appears to be a likely one.

Would the tenates of Christianity as an organisation and way of life still work if the post-death revival of humanity was revealed to be an idea created by Paul of Tarsus rather than taught by Jesus of Nazareth?

...yeah, I know someone will condemn me to Hell for this but I'm just ignorant & trying to understand. In Genesis, Abraham's son Isaac becomes the father of the Jewish people. Then in the NT Jesus comes from this line as the promised Messiah, and anyone, Jew or Gentile, who accepts his grace gets heaven. But God also promised Abraham's other son, Ishmael, that he would be made into a great nation. I THINK that Ishmael is supposed to be the Father of the Muslims??? If this is the case, why do modern Christians maintain that Muslims must accept the Grace of Christ to go to heaven? Didn't God form a separate relationship with the decendants of Ishmael, and make them a different set of promises? In Genesis he certainly seemed reassuring to Ishmael and his mother Hagar, not like he was saying, "don't worry, I'll make you into a great nation and send you all to hell". Maybe my entire premise is faulty, so sorry in advance if I sound like an idiot...please clarify?

What is GODS WILL?Just how do we KNOW we are doing Gods will in our lifes.I studyed the Bible for a year straught, all I came up with was to be praying and asking God what to do. at all times.

I talk to lot's of people who feel they don't have vision or direction in their life..if this is you I'd like to share what I've learned.

Try to bring your vision to your life. To change your reality, first change your perception. To bring something into your world, first bring it fully to life within yourself.
Go beyond merely thinking about what you would like to do, or be, or create. Go ahead and experience it in detail with all that you are.
In your mind's eye, with your emotions fully engaged, surround yourself with the richness of whatever you envision. Fill your awareness with the sights, the sounds, the feelings, and the texture of it all. Allow yourself to experience the pure joy of the best life you can imagine. Let that feeling penetrate to the very depth of your being.
Make it real within you and you'll begin to make it real in the world around you. Know without a doubt that it is and it will begin to be.
Bring your vision to the stage of your life

Hope this helps

I know I didn't spell it right, just listen. Earlier today I was standing at the corner waiting for a bus. There was a muslim girl of about eighteen or nineteen across the street. She was wearing one of those head scarves I think they call hijabs. I didn't pay much attention to her until I heard her scream. I looked and there she is with her hair blowing in the wind, and some guy in running down the street with her hijab. He got away, and when the cops showed up they said it was a theft. From her reaction, (Crying like a small child) you'd have thought someone punched her in the face. Still, it was just a head scarf, she wasn't hurt.
