No, the US flag is mere symbolism of a great country here on earth. God is not a respector of nations (countries). When we leave this world, we change and have no desire to harm anyone or anything, because we are spirits free from the influence of evil. I'd pray for him, he needs it. To him? (no comment other than if I *were* to choose a false god, it sure wouldn't be THAT one!). BTW, angels aren't normal people, they were a separate creature, spiritual in nature, not born with physical bodies

The American flag is not physically in heaven. It is there in that God knows about it because He knows everything. God is not president as a presidential term is 4 to 8 years. God's reign never ends. He is not president; He is Lord forever. Bush is not God. Bush is a human being just like you and me. He has an eternal soul just like you and me. There are many images in the Bible as to what Heaven looks like (especially in the book of Revelation). Streets of gold. Twelve gates that enter into the city of God, each one made of pearl. Twelve levels of the city of God all made of precious stones. The crystal sea. Each description is symbolic. The crystal sea (or clear sea), for instance, as opposed to the dark sea of earth, represents the absense of sin in heaven. There is no sun in Heaven for the radiance of God's glory lights everything all the time. We will no longer be American when we get there. (Not all of us will get there; only those whose faith is in Jesus Christ for their salvation.) Those of us who will get there are not really Americans or of any other earthly nationality. We are members of Christ's kingdom and He said His kingdom is not of this world. We do not become angels. God created angels seperately from humans. Nor will we beat up on anyone else in heaven as that is a result of our sinfulness and the Lord will destroy all sin. We will be perfect (like Adam was, before he sinned against God, when God created him). Yes, we should pray for president Bush.

Nations will be judged by the perfect judge.
You should pray for our president, yes.
Many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

I think the criteria for getting into heaven is how much we have done, unselfishly, for others.
That being said, I doubt many Americans will make it through.
Maybe the flag exists elsewhere...

you will find all your answers from the bible. If this question you have asked about is not mentioned in the bible( the answer), then its not true. for instance, if it says that Bush is God, then you will know its true. seek and you will find.
