One Mormon woman told me the Mormon church had a list of media titles their leaders found unacceptable entertainment for Mormons. Does this make sense to you that they would also celebrate Halloween if this list supposedly exists?

Religions are formed in a particular culture and are fit for that culture. People will never give up their cultural identities. Would'nt countries around the world be much more peaceful if all religions were just practiced in their own places of origin and countries only dealt with each other in diplomacy! A lot of cultural things go with each religion that are unacceptable to other religions. Now what we have is ghettos in every country!

I'm honestly curious. I see on here frequently how christians will lie about Einstein's "deathbed conversion" (which we know is false - he did not convert on his deathbed to his nurse, who was the only one with him when he died) -- and we also know very well that Darwin changed his faith several times throughout his life, and it is well known that he had lost all faith in Christianity long before his death (even his own daughter Henrietta confirmed that) -- yet, christians still come on here and lie about his death, and claim that he converted, too, which is patently false. (By the way, you can verify this on any historical site, or a site like Snopes.com that debunks urban legends).

Is it the christian low self-esteem that drives this need to lie in order to make their stuff look better? Is it a seriously low level of confidence in their faith and cult beliefs that cause it? I'm honestly curious -- and if christians can be truthful in this case, please reply.

The UK isn't a muslim country and muslims should abide by our rules and values. If they want to wear their religous dress they should wear it in their country. We are a christian country and now telling christians its wrong to wear a tiny cross. This is political correctness gone mad.

Obviously not all Christians feel the same way, but most that I know, who are conservative and Republican, do not believe in global warming, and deny scientific evidence that it is occurring or that humans are responsible for it. I just don't understand why this has become a political issue, and why many Christians are against efforts to stop global warming. Can you help me understand? And please don't accuse me of being political myself on the other side - I honestly do not know, and that's why I'm asking. No hidden agenda. Thanks!

i am listening to an Coast to Coast AM with George Noory. He is interviewing a gentleman and they talked about the movie The Exorcist and the real people and places involved. I have always understood that to be a true story but because of the Lutz's story regarding Amityville Horror Farse i am a little skeptical. Can someone tell me what happened to the real people invoved in the Exorcist after the event. Not the people in the movie but the people in the real case. I am also interested in the why the younger priest will not talk to anyone about it. The strange occurances that happened to the people in the hospital where the boy was.
