in their country yes, but in other countries e.g the UK no as its a christian country and should do as the British people do. Veils make it hard for muslims to integrate into the community it isolates people from not seeing their face. It makes non-muslim people feel threatened or angry because they're hiding away!!

Anything is good if being done voluntarily with conscious knowledge. This shows that man knows how to use his god-given free will.
The worst thing is not the veil of cloth on the face (in my polluted city, most of people are now wearing a veil in the public), but the prejudicious veil in the mind. It prevents people from approaching and loving each other as true brothers and sisters in one humanity.

It should be their choice to wear or not wear them, simple as that.
And of course, sometimes a "veiled" non-Muslim woman just thinks her new Vera Bradley scarf would look better than the green tint her highlights took on after swimming in a chlorinated pool...*raises hand*

Christians need to pray that the veils would be removed, not the physical ones, but the spiritual ones - that the glorious light of the Gospel will be understood by the Muslims.

i really can't understand why some people are annoyed by the women in veils, dressed in a decent way and they are not annoyed or offended by hookers who are almost naked and walking in the street in a dirty way.
Why does it annoy people if the veiled woman is harmless and minding her own business, it is her right to choose what she wears, just like everybody else chose what to wear.

I think it is their right ... in a Muslim country.
In this country they should not be worn.
If this is a problem, there are many cheap flights now. So, emigrate & take your veil with you.

Same opinion about people of the Jewish faith wearing beanies or red necks wearing ball caps. If it's your thing and it's harmless it's no one else's business. C'est la vie!

A question for jenny lee: what religion are you, that thinks that sexual relations between husband and wife is impure? Whatever religion it is, y'all either have a lot of sinners, or are bound to die out!

I think it's cool.
I think they're beautiful.
I also wish more Catholics would stand up and be the Roman Catholics they claim to be and wear a veil in church.
