I'm not sure, but I don't think its a sin to shave, but it is sunnah. (That means it is following the example of the prophet (pbuh).) It is also sunnah to keep it neatly trimmed, so no bushy beard please.

Depends on the sect. Most muslims are not required to grow beards.

no u dont have to however alot of muslim men like to grow beards as it was what the prophet (saw) had done, and they want to follow his example in all manners, but no its not compulsory in islam for men to grow beards.

Facial hair is not a must for Muslim men...some just choose to grow beards.
Islam isnt about length of hair, its about faith & if you have the faith nobody can stop you following it

You only have to believe in the one prophet, alternatively cut some pubes off and stick them to your face that might do the job.
