Bukhari Hadiths saying parts of the Qur’an were missing and/or abrogated are vol.4:57,62, 69,229; vol.6:510,511 p.479-480.

Since there were various versions of the Qur’an, some with two more Suras than other versions, the Caliph ‘Uthman ordered everyone to turn in their Qur’an, and he would issue a "standardized" version.

Talking Truth to the Muslim World
Father Zakaria Boutros looks like a mild-mannered, unassuming priest. But his message is rocking much of the Muslim world.

His television program called 'Truth Talk' is broadcast daily into the Middle East over the Al-Hiyat satellite channel. On it, he challenges Muslims to examine what he says are inconsistencies in Islamic doctrine – inconsistencies that he says Muslim leaders don't want exposed and ordinary Muslims are told never to question.

“Islam cannot stand in front of intellectual questions and no one can understand because of contradictions in Koran, contradictions in Hadith, contradictions and false doctrines. So they don't want anybody to ask and to learn. 'This is Islam, you have to accept it as it is' lest you should be killed,” Zakaria said.

Father Zakaria doesn't stop at challenging the teachings of Islam. He also questions the Prophet Mohammed himself, who Zakaria says had his mind set on wordly pursuits.

“He said that his concerns are three things: women, perfume, and food,” he said. “Where is the kingdom of God? Where is the glory of God? Where is the salvation? Where is love? Where is the mission of a true Prophet of God?”

Father Zakaria's broadcasts have generated intense anger in the Muslim world and there's a $60 million bounty on his head. But he makes no excuses for his confrontational style.

He says the provocative statements are designed to challenge Muslims to examine their faith.

“This is my way: short, sharp, shock for the unconscious,” Zakaria said

If you want to believe in god or a little guy with a pitchfork, my hats off to you, seriously I can respect your ignorance as just that. But why are these people trying to convince our children, with such a fervency, that their illusions are ultimate truth. This is absolute insanity. Has anyone read the bill of rights recently? What is happening to our nation? Seriously, if you are dumb enough to believe in all this stuff, you need to expand your reading and circle of friends... Sorry to burst your bubble or make you think (don't hurt yourself now) but some things had to be said... (If this pisses you off, good... grow some balls and become your own person)

Be it through paganism.the burning bush or various saints,GODS or GODDESSES, this causes confusion to some that do not understand that a truth given to a person, at a particular point in their spiritual growth, is like prescription drugs. it does not fit all occations.

And when your soul ascends to heaven will your earth-grown personality come with it?
By the way, if you discover you are descending into hell, will you freak out and start kicking and screaming? Me, I'm a saint so I don't have to worry about that one. Just curious.

I'm looking to make this lotus seat to honor a departed friend. I plan to bring this to a local temple to be placed there to help in the transcendence of his spirit. Any pictures, or detailed drawings would be grateful.

why do non-Muslims insult and make fun of Islam all the time.
I noticed that even when they are posting questions mocking Muslims and prophet Mohamed, Muslims answer in a decent way giving facts and respecting other religions.
we (Muslims)always respect christians, jews...etc
we testify that jesus is a messenger from God and always say (peace upon him when we speak) we even dont insult people who doesnt believe in God.
why all that hate to Muhamed?
we're not trying to be angels, but till when is this gonna happen?
and for people who doesnt believe in God at all, why dont u keep it to urself? if u dont have a religion to follow then dont join the (religion and Spirituality section), go to science section instead, if its all that u believe in.
making fun of us or any person who believes in God will not get u a trophy or make u feel good about urself, and if so,then u must be so pathetic, as u're searching for the attention we dont give u.

Per my research, no it does not. If I have overlooked something, please school me. I have only found tat the word "Allah" is derived from the ancient Arabic "Al-ilah", who was the highest of many deities worshipped by the early Arabs. The Kabah was considered the house of Allah, and was worshipped as well. There were several words for this moon god, Allah. (Sin, Hubul, Illumquh...based mainly on tribal affiliation).

Well, what does the Koran say about the Mysterious allah?

I know faith is a big part of religion. But i fear it will take me a lifetime to desipher, evaluate and learn. Isn't it a wreckless notion to just automatically believe the first thing that was put in your face as a child without deep unbias evaluation?

i have my pride & dignity and I'm not going to open something that might lead into some form of manipulation. if he truly cared about me, he'd send me a private email, right?
