HAve you then considered Al-Lat and Al-Uzza?

And Manat, the other third?

Is it for you the males and for Him the females?

That indeed is a division most unfair!

They are but names which you have named - you and your fathers - for which Allah has sent down no authority. They follow but a guess and that which they themselves desire, whereas there has surely come to them the Guidance for their Lord!

Al-Quran 53:19-23

As u can see, it is evident from the verse 23 that Allah talks about them as their pagan gods.

Pls read the whole thing. No where in the Quran does Allaah says that Al Lat, Al Uzza and Manat are his daughters or if he has any sons or any of the crap. Instead, Allah says in chapter 112

Say: He is Allah, the One

Allah the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, [He neither eats nor drinks]

He begets not, nor was He begotten

And there is none co-equal or comparable unot Him

Al-Quran 112: 1-4

The people of Muhammad's own tribe rejected him. One of the reasons was the worship of only one god ( the moon god -picked from the over 300 that Arabs worshiped at the time ). In response, Muhammad succumbed to the temptation to appease his tribe by announcing that it would be OK for Muslims to worship the three daughters of Allah - Al-Lat, Al-Uzza and Manat.

This declaration led to the infamous "Satanic Verses" of the Koran which were later removed when Muhammad reverted back to monothemism.

Muslims have tried ever since to cover-up this diversion from their faith.

You are pulling something out of context. I suggest maybe getting yourself a copy of the translation of the Quraan before misquoting.

The verses you are speaking of are discussing the beliefs of pagan Arabs, their Gods / Goddesses were Laat and Uzza (idols).

A fundemental belief is Islam is that Allah (God) is one and has no partners family or anyone equal to Him. The worst sin that can be committed by a muslim is the sin of ascribing a partner with Allah, you lose your faith if you do this. Hence the Quraan or Hadith will never ever mention anything like that.

However I did see an article written on a website 'muslimhope.com' which is seemingly run by Christians wanting to discredit the Quraan. That article calls Laat Uzza and Manat the daughters of God.

53:19 Have ye seen Lat. and 'Uzza,
53:20 And another, the third (goddess), Manat?
53:21 What! for you the male sex, and for Him, the female?
53:22 Behold, such would be indeed a division most unfair!
53:23 These are nothing but names which ye have devised,- ye and your fathers,- for which Allah has sent down no authority (whatever). They follow nothing but conjecture and what their own souls desire!- Even though there has already come to them Guidance from their Lord!

I don't interpret the translation that way. Are there any fluent Arabic speakers here, who can comment?

The accompanying inscriptions make it clear that these were idols of the Moon-god. Several smaller statues were also found which were identified by their inscriptions as the "daughters" of the Moon-god. What about Arabia? As pointed out by Prof. Coon, "Muslims are notoriously loath to preserve traditions of earlier paganism and like to garble what pre-Islamic history they permit to survive in anachronistic terms."

excavated sites at Qataban, Timna, and Marib (the ancient capital of Sheba). Thousands of inscriptions from walls and rocks in Northern Arabia have also been collected. Reliefs and votive bowls used in worship of the "daughters of Allah" have also been discovered. The three daughters, al-Lat, al-Uzza and Manat are sometimes depicted together with Allah the Moon-god represented by a crescent moon above them. The archeological evidence demonstrates that the dominant religion of Arabia was the cult of the Moon-god.

Istar was a daughter of Sin. Sacrifices to the Moon-god are described in the Pas Shamra texts. In the Ugaritic texts, the Moon-god was sometimes called Kusuh. In Persia, as well as in Egypt, the Moon-god is depicted on wall murals and on the heads of statues. He was the Judge of men and gods. The Old Testament constantly rebuked the worship of the Moon-god (see: Deut. 4:19;17:3; II Kngs. 21:3,5; 23:5; Jer. 8:2; 19:13; Zeph. 1:5, etc.) When Israel fell into idolatry, it was usually the cult of the Moon-god. As a matter of fact.
.
Historical evidences, impartial logic, well versed references and all available circumstantial judgments can very well prove that—(a) Allah name of deity was pre-existed much before the arrival of Islam, (b) Pre-Islamic Pagan peoples worshipped Allah as their supreme deity (moon-god). Allah’s name existed in pre-Islamic Arab. In ancient Arab the Allah was considered to be the supreme God/deity (as Moon-God) and Arab Pagans worshipped Allah before Islam arrived.

Have those verses been “abrogated” out of the present Qur’an? Yes.

you are twisting things around like usual. keep continue reading till 23.

[23] They are but names which you have named - you and your fathers - for which Allâh has sent down no authority. They follow but a guess and that which they themselves desire, whereas there has surely come to them the Guidance from their Lord!
Quran 53:23

before Islam, there used to be people worship idols called Lat and Uzza. other people used to say we we have the males and God has the females, and other saying different things. so God is telling them these are just names you and ur fathers has named, you follow your own desire. and i have never send anything about this.

These names are idols worshiped by Arabs before Islam.

Read the next one in the same chapter:" They are but names which ye have named, ye and your fathers, for which Allah hath revealed no warrant. They follow but a guess and that which (they) themselves desire. And now the guidance from their Lord hath come unto them."

Hope this clarifies it

I don't know what you are talking bout. As far as I know the Qur'an never metioned ALLAH having daughters or sons. You must have misunderstood the Sura.
