Why does does the koran authorize the worship of 'allah's daughters' al-Lat, al-Uzza, and Manat?

Why? I thought there were no other gods but allah? Now the guy has daughters? Who is their mother?

As u can see, it is evident from the verse 23 that Allah talks about them as their pagan gods.

Pls read the whole thing. No where in the Quran does Allaah says that Al Lat, Al Uzza and Manat are his daughters or if he has any sons or any of the crap. Instead, Allah says in chapter 112

Say: He is Allah, the One

Allah the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, [He neither eats nor drinks]

He begets not, nor was He begotten

And there is none co-equal or comparable unot Him

Al-Quran 112: 1-4

The people of Muhammad's own tribe rejected him. One of the reasons was the worship of only one god ( the moon god -picked from the over 300 that Arabs worshiped at the time ). In response, Muhammad succumbed to the temptation to appease his tribe by announcing that it would be OK for Muslims to worship the three daughters of Allah - Al-Lat, Al-Uzza and Manat.

This declaration led to the infamous "Satanic Verses" of the Koran which were later removed when Muhammad reverted back to monothemism.

Muslims have tried ever since to cover-up this diversion from their faith.

You are pulling something out of context. I suggest maybe getting yourself a copy of the translation of the Quraan before misquoting.

The verses you are speaking of are discussing the beliefs of pagan Arabs, their Gods / Goddesses were Laat and Uzza (idols).

A fundemental belief is Islam is that Allah (God) is one and has no partners family or anyone equal to Him. The worst sin that can be committed by a muslim is the sin of ascribing a partner with Allah, you lose your faith if you do this. Hence the Quraan or Hadith will never ever mention anything like that.

However I did see an article written on a website 'muslimhope.com' which is seemingly run by Christians wanting to discredit the Quraan. That article calls Laat Uzza and Manat the daughters of God.

Historical evidences, impartial logic, well versed references and all available circumstantial judgments can very well prove that—(a) Allah name of deity was pre-existed much before the arrival of Islam, (b) Pre-Islamic Pagan peoples worshipped Allah as their supreme deity (moon-god). Did the name “Allah” eventually replace that of Hubul as the name of the Moon god? Yes.

Did they call the Kabah the “house of Allah”? Yes.

Were al-Lat, al-Uzza and Manat called “the daughters of Allah”? Yes.

Yusuf Ali explains in fn. 5096, pg. 1445, that Lat, Uzza and Manat were known as “the daughters of God [Allah]”

Did the Qur’an at one point tell Muslims to worship al-Lat, al-Uzza and Manat? Yes. In Surah 53:19-20.

Have those verses been “abrogated” out of the present Qur’an? Yes.

The variable names (Sin, Hubul, llumquh, Al-ilah) of moon god were used by various tribes of pagan Arabs. Pagan god SIN was the name of Moon-god.

before Islam, there used to be people worship idols called Lat and Uzza. other people used to say we we have the males and God has the females, and other saying different things. so God is telling them these are just names you and ur fathers has named, you follow your own desire. and i have never send anything about this.

I don't know what you are talking bout. As far as I know the Qur'an never metioned ALLAH having daughters or sons. You must have misunderstood the Sura.
