I know most good Christians would quickly respond that they would never have an abortion... however I maintain that no one can actually answer that question until they are in the situation...
The daughter of my former pastor insisted that she would never have an abortion under any circumstances. However when she got pregnant (from consentual sex with my brother, I might add), she was quickly forced to re-examine that position. The unmarried daughter of a pastor being pregnant would brand her for life and would undermine his ministry... So she made a choice...
And when no one else who knew about the situation would show her any type of compassion, it fell to me to take her in. I didn't agree with her decision... but I respected it.
I can't say whether or not I would... and if people are really honest with themselves... I don't think they could answer so quickly.

Yes and no. Yes because the father of my baby isn't who i want the dad to be, and because i don't want to live on seeing the rapist face in my child face. No because it isn't right, and when u get an abortion, you can mess up ur inside, and mayb u can neva have a child again, and u just killed something that could be precious, so if it came down to that i wouldn't but it iup to u think about the outcome of each, if i don't and what will happen , and if i do, what will happen.

Every one is quick to give there answers but the that matters is what did God have to say about this?
Conception and Birth
The New Testament was written mostly in Greek, and then translated into the many languages of the world. The Greek word pronounced gen-aw-oh is often translated as "born," but the original Greek word has a much broader literal meaning - it covers the entire process from conception to birth. Unlike (in certain areas of) the modern world where abortion has been magically transformed from a hideous criminal act to a "right," in God's eyes there is no Satanic debate about "when life begins" - according to God's Word, it begins at conception e.g. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you" (Jeremiah 1:5 KJV).
The original Greek word included the entire process of creating a new life, as proven by the two examples:
Gen-aw-oh translated as "born"
"Now when Jesus was born [i.e. the Greek gen-aw-oh] in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king" (Matthew 2:1 KJV)
Gen-aw-oh translated as "conceived"
"Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary your wife, for that which is conceived [i.e. again, the Greek gen-aw-oh] in her is of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 1:20 KJV)
The good news, maybe, in view of what the Biblical word gen-aw-oh literally means, and God's statement
Now here is God’s words and read them carefully and think is it wrong to kill, murder an unborn child because you were raped and that sould didn’t do a thing wrong.
"before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you,"
before you were formed God knew you
so just like a seed we know if it is planted in fertile soil it will produce a fruit, so why is it any different with a child? It’s not.
So no it is not ok to kill an unborn child

This is a loaded question. HAve you ever expereince rape? NO. If you had and you got pregnant from it, I can bet you that you wouldnt want a little reminder of it running around your home afterwards.... You people are fooling yorselves only....
Besides, why would you want to bring a child into the world that you are going to be incapable of loving?? (IF it was the child of a rape...you wouldnt be loving it.....)

So, I am a Christian, and i can do it if i want, and no where in the Bible, is written that you have not the right, to decide for your life.Every person and especially the woman has every right to decide for her soul. Why the people are so scared from their freedom? The Lord said love your next, as your self.He did not said, do not love your self at all.If you are a woman you have the responsibility, and the right to take your life in your hand, before you are lost for ever..........a baby needs love and clear thought, and not a unhappy, frustrated mother, think about it.

of course not. It's not the baby's fault how that happened. Would you kill an older child because she was the product of rape? Of course not. It's the same principle.

No, absolutely not. I have raised (at least in part) 9 foster children, and 2 of my neices. I love them all and could not hold a child responsible for the violence and hatred shown by his/her father. I would sooner give the child away to someone else than murder it.
