Bukhari Hadiths saying parts of the Qur’an were missing and/or abrogated are vol.4:57,62, 69,229; vol.6:510,511 p.479-480.

Since there were various versions of the Qur’an, some with two more Suras than other versions, the Caliph ‘Uthman ordered everyone to turn in their Qur’an, and he would issue a "standardized" version.

Yes. They will deny it. I'm sure they will deny this as well. Yet, it is true: http://www.muslimhope.com/DaughtersOfAllah.htm

Er. . . . .This seems false to me. I absolutely do not believe in any of this abrogation nonsense. Any hadith which contradicts Quran and common sense is false. Can you provide evidence that there were different versions of the Quran, except for the order of the surahs?

quran has authority over hadith, the hadith isnt infallible, it was just mans attempt many years later to describe the life of the prophet(pbuh), umm have you actually seen the 2 different qurans, some other sects claim theres koran with 2 more surahs but never have they actually produced it(they just do it to anger muslims, please show it to us if you do come upon it), i have seen ab 10 diff bibles, ppl didnt need to turn in their koran bc hundreds and hundreds memorized it, all Uthman(may Allah be pleased with him) was publish and give the surahs the order

vol 4:57, its an invocation not a quranic verse(beware of the english translation)
62, the man merely said he forgot the verse until someone reminded him
69, same as 57(again better to read them in arabic)
229, they were reciting koran, it doesnt mention any abrogation
510, when they were at war, the people they were fighting in iraq differed in recitation of the koran, so the original muslims feared of what happened to the jews and christians, so Uthman(may Allah be pleased with him) compiled the koran(order doesnt really matter) and it became official.

Exactly. It only took a year or so before Arabs started misquoting Mohammad and even adding stuff of their own. The Caliph ‘Uthman was like their Pope, and he decided what was, and what wasn't going to be included. I'm glad you brought this up. Hopefully it will help Muslims understand the history of their own book.

It just goes to show how easy it is for someone to make their own version of a holy book.

Too bad they don't apply the same standard to the Hadiths. Many of them tell the same story with different details. For example, in the Hadiths it says when Mohammad and his army CONQUERED a Jewish village, a group of jews brought him a goat laced with poison. Another Hadith says it was one Jewish woman who brought the goat. The stories dont match.

The quaran is a lazy man's excuse just like the holy bible is...nice or not so nice stories...but effective. First find inner peace and meaning then look up to the heaven and shout lord take me, I am ready for you I have lived a fruitful life in your light, I understand man's faults and forgive them and my self...that is the true epitome of religiousness...truly forgiving others.

Why bother correcting what God Will soon destroy?
Fact is, destruction is on the way according to our bible.
Don't worry about false religion, God has it's destruction well in hand.
You can read all about it in revelation.
