I was brought up in The Church of God in Christ; is one denomination supposed to be better than the other? Thanks in advance for sensible answers. :-)

Y'know how everyone gets religion mixed up and goes to war in its name, well what would happen if we idealogically banned religion if it meant peace, would god be angry with us even though we had created peace?

NB I am not implying we do this I am purely speaking hyperthetically for the sake of the question.Thanks.

Okay, so I know that God says not to live with a man if you're not married to him. Does that mean you're not allowed to live with any man if you're not married, or can you like live with your guy friend who you aren't dating?

You lived in a neighborhood with a few Muslim neighbors. A hypothetical event transpired in the world (ie: Bush openly criticized Islam and approved the investigation of American Muslims with ties to middle eastern terrorists after another 9/11 type even transpired, God forbid) Anyways, if you witnessed a few of your Muslim neighbors meeting at odd hours after this and receiving many large packages daily, would you be paranoid?

Would you move? Or stay?

i have bible says that makes Me pure of heart, but what if bible is just peoples opinions? Then i could just be pure german to the light and not a nice guy like i used to be. But auctung heiss are you a german sect? living and thinking evil has been way more fun. personally i would have loved to watch schindler water down the jews. cause its a laff to people when others are in trouble. I see this because people around Me seem to enjoy My discomfort. So i will say heroes become evil to save the good or pure in heart. heil hitler.

If you see someone wearing a WWJD bracelet or clothing item, and they are doing something that is against Christian standards, then do you have the right to confront them about it?

I'm Atheist, but I think this comparison is interesting. There is true love here and also the feigning of love.

Buddhism-
-Buddha (not saviour, or god) reached spiritual enlightenment and ultimate empathy with others. Spreads teachings similar to Jesus.
-Afterlife gives people second chances, in fact infinite chances, to reach spiritual enlightenment.
-People of all religions can reach enlightenment, there is no hell.

Christianity-
-Jesus (son of God, and in some sects, God) taught rules similar to Buddha in love thy naighbor
-Afterlife, hell for non-believers, no second chance, only true way to reach heaven is through one religion.
-Deeds do not matter, only religion

Now what do you think of that comparison, what do you think is more loving and accepting? Even as an Atheist I say the deeds of one religion is more open than the other.

Pure and Simple: Direct relationship with God. If humans want something, we ask God directly. This is what I am looking for.

Some christians are so caught up in the struggle that a good movie to describe them is "Waiting to Exhale." Some people don't wanna hear about God so much that a good movie would be "Running Scared." Some people are so into themselves "spiritually" that they could use "Clueless" as their theme title. Just having fun here... what's your anthem or what do you see as a good movie title around you?
