I need a good idea for a short story. Normally I would ask this question in a more appropriate category, but people in this one seem to have all the answers so..... let's here your ideas! please.

Yes I do. It seems that you know about SARCASM, write about that.
Here I will get you started:
sarcasm noun (1550)
1: a sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain
2: a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual b. the use or language of sarcasm

Think of an event that was significant in your childhood-nothing too heavy. For me it was meeting my first best friend. Base your story on that. You don't have to stick to the facts, embellish a little but keep it believeable.

Write about the Prophet Muhammad.
Muslims love him, even with his shortcomings.
He was 54 years old when he first had sex with his 9 year old wife, whom he'd married when she was six.
Tell about how he tried to get followers from a Pagan religion
by lying to them. He told them Gabriel brought a message to him from God that it was OK to worship Pagan Gods.
He told one of his apostles to lie and deceive some one in order to kill him.

Writers need to keep a notebook with them at all times. They need to observe things around them. They need to interpret things in imaganitive, interesting, and amusing ways. When you get into the habit, things come to you.

for inspiration for a good story, if your looking for humor, look for something in your area or in your past that was funny, make up names and write away. if that doesn't work, look around your home town for a billboard or sign with a catchy phrase and work off of that
