The pages of National Geographic frequently show tribal women in a topless state. I was doing some humanitarian work with Sesame Street one summer, and I decided to join them. My colleagues believed I was wrong in doing so. What do you think?

You can all believe what you want, but I must say that this idea of Christians that God was not able to forgive their sins without the death of Jesus is quite strange. I found this Bible verse in the context of this theology of "atonement of human sins by the death of Jesus":

"In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness." (Hebrews 9:22)

Christianity is the only present religion with this concept. Still Christians often speak as if they imagined God the most loving and forgiving and this made them better than other religions. Why?

They are In "persona Christa". Jesus was not a woman but, a man. The priest stands in for Jesus--A male sacrifice has always been THE atonement for sin not female.

I am an atheist, I believe in science and evolution. I don't believe in the bible and or its ancient stories. I however have been exposed to church and Christian beliefs as a child and adult, I understand how the whole story of creation and god is written. I also understand that the bible is a rule book or guide book for morale living. I hate the assumption that all atheists are bad people, I am a good person. I have good healthy morals and I will help anyone when they are down, I love to learn and teach others. I respect what others believe, I try not to offend anyone in there views.

I honestly can’t fathom how someone can go to a zoo and look a Chimpanzee in the face and say their nothing like us. How can a true creationist say that the DNA test are wrong and that Chimps are nothing like us, and were nothing like them. Or not even go to a zoo looking at a picture of the chimpanzee. The problem is that people don’t understand evolution, or how its works. All they know is that it contradicts the beliefs they were taught, therefore they dismiss it all together.

I will say that science does not answer all the questions that we humans put forward. However, humans are still a very primitive species; we have only harnessed the power of the atom. We have yet to explore and harness the power of the oceans, and our weather systems, or the sun. Science is in its infancy, it will answer more questions then the bible will ever answer.

When doing a ritual, *most* Pagans (eclectics) use each of the elements... Fire, Air, Water, Earth. Look at what the Catholics use:

Candles - Fire
Incense - Air
Holy Water - Water
Eucharist - Earth

Both do their "rituals" on an ALTAR, which is usually covered in an altar cloth.

The Catholic Mass (ritual) ends with giving thanks to God. Pagans end with giving thanks to the Gods, elementals, and directions. But, still, nonetheless, they both give thanks to their deities.

Before anybody claims Paganism is copying Catholicism, Paganism has been around since 10000 BCE (Before Common Era aka BC) while Monotheism came around in 5000 BCE. The Bible came around in 400 CE (Common Era, aka AD).

So, what do you think about the similarities? I know they are different religions, but, there ARE some similarities.

to take in the unwanted children or finacially support them? i am personally uneasy with abortion, but would not like to impose my beliefs on people who feel the need to do it. should we register ourselves as willning to take these children or should the people opposed to abotion,(including me as one who is uneasy with it) tick a box saying we are willing to pay extra tax to support these children. after all we're willing to oppose the taking of their lives, shouldn't we be just as willing to make sure they have reasonable life free from poverty? i know this would not totally irradicate abortion, but wouldn't it make a big dent?

Someone I know well, says that he has a good balance in him
between the aspects of the Lifeforce. The masculine and
feminine.
Unfortunately, this shows on his physical body. He is a man, but
has a condition some men have, where they have extra fat cells
on their chest.
There aren't like a womans, but he has titties. And he says his
genitals are like a small childs. How many men would be angry
at God about that?
But he says God blessed him in this way. (Actually, they say
our spirits make these choices themselves, before they enter
this world). Because God has blessed him with so many other
things.
A good heart, mind, and spirit. He has lots of talent in writing
and music. And he thinks God cut him a little short in the physical
department to keep him humble. So he doesn't get the BIG HEAD,
thinking he's ALL THAT!
IT'S ALL IN HOW YOU LOOK AT THINGS.
Read Pauls words about how it's better to be single. Not worrying
about material needs, having time for your spirit.

Heaven/hell? the question is about truth...
Once you have a set standard(absolute truth)
than the questions of heaven and hell can and are answered.
ARE YOU ABSOLUTELY SURE THERE ARE NO ABSOLUTES?
Rev 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

I will spare you of all the interesting history on the pineal gland I do suggest researching it in modern times and back to the great philosophers etc.

1)You pineal gland is what allow you to dream.
2)In the growth of a baby in the womb for the first 50 days the pineal gland is most active.
4)Upon death your penal gland empties all that interesting fluid(DMT) out in your brain.

Now if you have any idea about the pineal gland and DMT or even not that should say something as an entry and exit point. What do you think?
