Should women wear makeup? I know the traditional teaching is no. But the opening line of the Muppet Show says, "It's time to put on makeup... its time to dress up right..." Am I sinning?

What is makeup for, to cover faults, right? Or so we can look good, or better, we dress up the outside of the body, and leave the inside undone. But I cannot say If its a sin to wear makeup, that depends on the reason we wear makeup I guess, we can make sin out of anything we do. we need to make sure of our own souls, lift up those that are weak, let God judge what is right and wrong, which he has done with some things already because some are written in the Bible, those that are not, He will let us know in our hearts, and we should not judge people for what he has not written in his word.

If one thinks that in a world where tsunamis rip babies from their mothers' arms, gangsters in the white house are destroying a half century of respect for human rights, and the semites are blowing each other up without end and without plan, that there is a god who gives a **** about what pigmant is smeared on a woman's face, one would have a woefully limited view of life. (like, alas, most religious people.)
