I've heard many different versions, some claim a specific month of pregnancy some say that is a certain amount of weeks after the child is borne- what does the bible say of this matter, anyway?

I don't think there's any way to prove when a soul enters the body. I am pro-life, but I dont know if the soul enters at conception, or when the hear starts beating at 5 weeks, or when there is voluntary movement... who knows?

Actually, I've heard from several religions speakers that the soul arrives before birth. They said that God knows if a child will be aborted or if it is ill, or if the mother will be ill, and does not send a soul unless He is sure that the pregnancy will take place and the baby will be born.

At conception!
King David said that he was a soul at conception.
Psa 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

The first thing you have to do is demonstrate that a "soul" exists. Then ask your question.

Almost all accept that it is at the moment of conception.

based on "I knew you in the womb" and possibly "spill not thy seeds"
