Why would he not think of another way of proving his point, besides putting temptation infront of Adam and Eve and then having to sacrifice his own son to prove that he is the one that deserves to be served and that humans can not govern themselves without his wisdom and guidance. That doesnt seem very wise or loving, and now we all suffer such cruelity's. Where's the love, I cant even kill a bug without feeling bad...he killed his own son and we all basically live in Hell right now. There had to be another way....he's God right. He could have been a bit more caring when making this decision dont you think?

I was listening to the new and they said the time so my idea was on that and by mistake i waited till 17:48 to break my fast. Few minute later, I realised that it wasn't the right for me to break my fast. I threw all the food I had in my mouth raise it and then asked ALLAH to forgive. Is it my fast still available if I straight away Allah to forgive?

In a Spiritual sense they say you should be "detached" from the results of your efforts. I know it doesn't mean to "not care" about the results, but it sure sounds like that is what is being said. Can someone please elaborate on the concept of being "Detached" without being apathetic? ... Examples would be helpful, too

I posted this question yesterday, thought i would run it by you evolutionists again:

Here are the two premises on which various theories of evolution are based.
1 - The evolutionary formula for making a universe:
Nothing + nothing = two elements + time = 92 natural elements + time = all physical laws and a completely structured universe of galaxies, systems, stars, planets, and moons orbiting in perfect balance and order.
2 - The evolutionary formula for making life:
Dirt + water + time = living creatures.
Evolutionists theorize that the above two formulas can enable everything about us to make itself—with the exception of man-made things, such as automobiles or buildings. Complicated things, such as wooden boxes with nails in them, require thought, intelligence, and careful workmanship. But everything else about us in nature (such as hummingbirds and the human eye) is declared to be the result of accidental mishaps, random confusion, and time. You will not even need raw materials to begin with. They make themselves too.
Am I correct in stating the above? Is it logical? Are these theories truly scientific keeping in mind that for a scientific theory to be proven it must be observed, tested and possible to recreate? If evolutionists believe in such theories, isn’t evolution classified as a religion?
"Often a cold shudder has run through me, and I have asked myself whether I may have not devoted myself to a phantasy" (*Charles Darwin, Life and Letters, 1887, Vol. 2, p. 229).
“As by this theory, innumerable transitional forms must have existed. Why do we not find them embedded in the crust of the earth? Why is not all nature in confusion instead of being, as we see them, well-defined species?”—*Charles Darwin, quoted in H. Enoch, Evolution or Creation (1866), p. 139.

My three year old went for his first night of the Awana program last night and he has to memorize verses in order to get his points or badges....No problem. My problem is that one of the verses is that we are all sinners and Christ died because we are all sinners....Isn't that a little much for a three year old? Sinning and dying are not even in my child's vocabulary. Really how can a 3 year old be considered a sinner? Do you think God really cares if my son didn't put his toys away the first time I told him. I don't think that's a sin. That a 3 year old being a 3 year old. I believe sin that sin is mainly when you have an evil intent. I just don't want my son to feel like he should be scared of burning in hell at 3 years old. It seems a tad extreme. Whatever happened to focusing on the whole "Jesus love me" stuff? Am I overreacting?

Ether 12: 24
24 And thou hast made us that we could write but little, because of the aawkwardness of our hands. Behold, thou hast not made us mighty in bwriting like unto the brother of Jared, for thou madest him that the things which he cwrote were mighty even as thou art, unto the overpowering of man to read them.

What do you think awkwardness refers to?

One thing for me was to get a peek at how devastating sin and our sinful nature has utterly corrupted mankind. I don't think we really understand how filthy and vulgar we appear before a righteous God.
I mean, we tend to fit punishment to the crime. When I considered that Adam and Eve's disobedience to God - by simply eating what they were told not to eat - condemned not only themselves, but all mankind to death in a cursed world, I am humbled. We took a very good creation from God and made it insignificant, justly deserving eternal hoplessness and torment apart from God in the lake of fire.
When I think of this, I can only guess how much God hates sin. I also can only glimpse how much He loves us. From this, and seeing the sin in my life and the world, the profound gratitude for what Jesus did for me becomes increasingly real.
How about you?

The world is in a state of flux. Global warming, bizarre weather patterns, Red Sox win a World Series. Pluto gets voted off the island. Why shouldn't religion get a makeover. I think "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors goods" should be tossed aside like a banana with brown spots. What's wrong with desiring something nice that your neighbor owns? A Lexus, perhaps. If you steal it then you've violated that other Commandment. If you kill the neighbor, that's covered, too. Coveting is just desiring. Almost everyone does that every day. No harm, no foul. That Commandment would be an afterthought on a 10 Suggestions list. 9 Commandments is a little unwieldy, though. OK, tack on a "Though shalt never laugh at a Pauly Shore movie" and you're back up to snuff.
