Hating others?

Hmm ... not enough ... I'm way to forgiving ... I USED to forgive a person (when they didn't want forgivness) and then think that forgivness ment that they'd change ... NOT ... but I'm learning to stop forgiving unless the person who wronged me askes for forgivness (which is hard) ... and learning to let go of jealousy, and other bad stuff that can pollute who I am even though someone has purposefully hurt me.

I spent many years hating my father, but not blindly....it took a long time to forgive him....I still don't ever want to see him again, but I don't hold those negative feelings anymore. I think hating hurts us not the people we end up hating :)

Sometimes, hating others is a healthy way of keeping your soul clean for the others that do deserve your love or appreciation. I hate hateful people, so my love for lovable people is more authentic and valuable. But mind you, I only hate those who are REALLY worth hating. I mean, people like Hitler, or child abusers. Not the guy who jumped the queue in the supermarket this morning.

None: life is too short for blind hatred.
