Why this double standard? Should not he restrain the Churches to stop converting non-christians which will ensure peace in Indian society? Poor and uneducated Indians getting converted to christianity for being allured by medicines and financial allurements is an exploitation of people's ignorance and poverty. Is it what Jesus expected his followers to do with mankind?

Just wanted to let you know that: not all muslims are ANGRY, or are against FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION etc. Any dispute can be solved by dialogue and mutual understanding without insulting the others believes. I invite all people here to stop insulting and degrading other's religions and try really to understand. Now, German officials and German muslim leaders had given a good example, why not follow it every where???

A muslim.

I have been wearing only modest dresses and skirts at all times as well as wearing a small, simple head scarf since April of this year. My coworkers have not said anything until recently when one
told me that I had lost my mind and needed to join the modern age. How do I handle this politely and why does she have a problem with my dress? I make no comments nor judgments on hers.

It seems to me that if Jesus could perform miracles such as the bible claims, he would have done better to keep himself alive, rather then allow himself to be crucified and waste all that talent. He could've cleansed sinners while being alive, and continued healing. Nobody would ever have to be sick, because Jesus could heal them. Anybody who died could be brought back to life, like Lazarus. Everyone could be forever healthy and live forever. Wouldn't that have been more practical? Of course, that would keep Jesus busy around the clock, but God could create several versions of Jesus. By staying alive, Jesus would have acquired a lot more credibility. After all, seeing is believing. And I don't think other religions could top that, so they would eventually fall by the wayside, and Christianity would stand alone. Bingo ~ no more Holy Wars. No Crusades, no Charlemagne, no need for Oral Roberts, Ernest Angley, Jimmy Swaggert, or any other phoney baloney faith healers. What do you think?

religon? There is always an Atheist who is talking about why there could not be any mention of God in schools...Right? Then if an Atheist claims to not believe in any deity then Atheists have no religon. Then Atheism is not a religon and should be ignored by everyone else in the world. But if Atheism is a religon then it should be seperated from "State". It goes both ways. Atheist(no religon)=no efect...Atheist (religon)=seperation. No way out right? The truth is Atheism is a religon about no religon, which makes it a religon. A religon is a "belief" therefore if you "believe" that there is no deity then that is your religon. That does not always make sense because if I belived that beating people will take me to Heaven that would be my "belief" or religon. that would not make sense as well...right???Try to figure something out. Obviously I am Christian and in no way and Atheist. So go ahead and answer the question.

While I agree with Evolution and find it the most plausible explanation available, I do see that many people do not agree with it. Do you think we should continue to teach Science without dwelling into evolution, to only be taught in colleges. I see a lot of division when it comes to evolution and it appears that there is a fair portion of the US does not wish it to be taught to their children.

What do you think the positive results would be by not teaching evolution, and what do you think that the negative results would be.

As a bonus, please include your religion or lack of one.

Thank you.

"Does the wild and unforgiving nature prove that no compassionate God do really exist?"

By saying "wild and unforgiving nature", I mean wild and unforgiving life in the nature (in the forest)

I don't mean "the wild and unforgiving nature of God". I think Yahoo understood it that way.

I mean if a compassionate supreme being really exists, why should he design such a natural life?

Do you render to God that which is God's? What exactly does this mean to you? I work, pay my taxes, follow the laws, and my legal obligations but to me Caeser has not rights to my children nor my home. I take nothing from Caeser other than the legal rights and police protection.

Isaiah 9vs 6 "Unto us a child is born, a SON is given, and he will be the prince of peace, the almighty God, the everlasting father, and the wonderful counselor."

to danielle a wonderful person yet wrong in her spiritual beliefs about Messiah-which makes her blinded- she stated in her 360 that she is a spiritist-and claims lol to be Jewish-and rejects Messiah-states this scripture cant be Jesus cause it says everlasting father-well-Jesus said if ye have seen me ye have seen the father, and I and my father are one- more than this as you brush of truth for your beliefs against Moses and Isaiah and Messiah Jesus-you have no atonement for sins-i do!

Moses-"The life of the flesh is in the blood and i have given it to make atonement on the altar for your souls." without a blood atonement-no other sacrifice was acceptable-and it was fulfilled as Isaiah predicted in 52:13-53:12 "He will be exaulted but first marred more than any man. He will lay down his life as a lamb to forgiveSin

Do you mean you have accepted his ideals, or accepted the entity as your savior?

If both apply, which is more important to you. There have been many historic figures that have also had great ideals, but they were not considered the son of god, or god. Which is more of a factor to you. Is it the ideals and morality set forth by Christ, or is it that you believe he is God's son, and/or God. In the belief of god, and in a hypothetical situation of which Christ were not the son of God and/or God would you still accept him as a savior?

I attend a very NON traditional church that is state of the art in tecnowledgy. I mean it is so awesome and the multi million dollar facility along with our jammin musicians that are CD quality good playen group of rockers! YEA We love God and we blow it out big time! I go and jam every week and I live out my faith and I am loven it so much! It's radicle, its a blast and its ME! I absolutly love where I goto church. We don't have such issues regarding backstabbing and the cut throught politics of religeoun. We are simply as non religeous as a church can get. Every week 2,000 fellow followers of Christ get together and we Jam and receive da word from our pastor. These folks are MY family! I love em all very much, I simply just can't imagine anyone truly hating real heart felt relationships. If one of us is hurt we all hurt with them. We have a soup kitchen that serves the poor and homeless. We have an auto shop business that will get mechanics together and go fix single moms cars Free

Why does the bible condemn fortune telling when it has MANY episodes of predicting the future? And why do Christians read horoscopes? YOU are sinning! You are not allowed to try to predict the future in any way. So don't be a hypocrite.
