Just wanted to let you know that: not all muslims are ANGRY, or are against FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION etc. Any dispute can be solved by dialogue and mutual understanding without insulting the others believes. I invite all people here to stop insulting and degrading other's religions and try really to understand. Now, German officials and German muslim leaders had given a good example, why not follow it every where???

To Aziz and Meressa. The good point is not in the topic of dipute but in the way the Government and Muslim learers delt with the issue.. DIALOGUE! Then, what ever decision they came out with, we should accept and respect. They are not lay people, but intellectuals and scholars who know very well what they are doing.

the question that bothers me is -- how dont christians find this insulting to Jesus? i mean when they consider him God or Son of God -- then how can they stand someone mocking at him or someone placing a beheaded head of Jesus? this is against the commandments, isnt it?

how come people can take prophets and messiahs to be given a form of image -- that too their heads cut-off -- thats breaking the First Commandment. what answer are people going to give to their Lord on the Day of Judgement? and for those without a religion, where is the humanity -- and what sort of humaneness is depicted to future generations, when one places cut off heads of those people who are prophets and role models for billions in the world?.

please if someone can give me a serious answer, it will be appreciated.

don't you know the difference between freedom of expression and outright insult and disrespect?

I think they did the right thing to cancel the opera but for the wrong reasons.

fear instead of respect.

they would have earned every Muslims' respect had they chosen to cancel out of respect.

Now they're earning fury from every direction.

muslims are liers!!! I dont believe in them cuz they dont really have good feelings to christians or jews.. they always be angry or trying to kill christians or jews.. they always be angry againts Western.. neither they will not be peaceful..
