Do you mean you have accepted his ideals, or accepted the entity as your savior?

If both apply, which is more important to you. There have been many historic figures that have also had great ideals, but they were not considered the son of god, or god. Which is more of a factor to you. Is it the ideals and morality set forth by Christ, or is it that you believe he is God's son, and/or God. In the belief of god, and in a hypothetical situation of which Christ were not the son of God and/or God would you still accept him as a savior?

I mean that I have accepted salvation through his death on the cross.

His ideals? He had no ideals. He was the ideal.

I believe that Christ is God's Son. If he were not God's Son, I would not accept him as my savior, because a human being--a sinner like myself--cannot save me from sin.

You have to accept Jesus as your savior because he died for your sins. The only way to the Father is through the Son. He conquered Hell and the grave for us so that we could enjoy eternal life in Heaven with him.

They are of equal importance, Jesus the Second member of The Godhead came to live and take the first Adam's place and live A perfect life, then to give YOU the credit and He dieing in your place also IF you meet the conditions on which salvation is offered place His robe of righteousness around you in place of your righteousness which is filthy rags. There are free bible lessons which goes into this better, www.itiswritten.com God bless you.

If you have accepted JESUS as your savior then that means you have accepted his brutal death as payment for your selfishness, hatred, lack of discipline, and everything else that you hate about other people. Accepting wonderful JESUS as your savior means taking on God's directions plain and simple.

Jesus was not Son of God, he was a prophet. So as a Savior i will choose God, not Jesus off course

I accept his ideals and agree that he is a great and faithful leader. But Christians are followers of the apostles who made up the christian faith after the death of Jesus. Jesus had nothing to do with the now known christian faith.

Its more important to me to be and do good things and be productive. Its more important to be this way without being threatened or scared into them. Being forced into "goodness" is just like being "bad." You are only doing it for selfish reasons.

Jesus was the only begotten son of God

His claim & evidence of His diety.

Without that, I'd consider Him to be nothing more than a man, which would negate following Him...

Without His being God, He would have no salvation to offer.

Jesus was a wonderful role model spiritually.

but he was no more god than you or I.

>>"Without His being God, He would have no salvation to offer. "<<

and beliving he is, is idolotry, and polytheism.

considering I can have God himself, without jesus, I can have my salvation and God, without having polytheism or idolotry.

oh yeah, i don't have jesus as my savior...

but hes a good role model!

Since the vast majority religions are nothing but borrowed ideas and principles from each other in the course of the past 200-6000 years. Almost any monotheistic religion is as good as the next.

So, since nearly all religions (or major religions) are in fact borrowed from each other ... picking one (G)od versus another one is just silly.
