I am organizing a new national day of prayer...we will all pray for the same thing...Pray to God that he/she/it will immediately send all Muslims and Christians straight to hell so that finally, after 2000 years of these control freaks killing each other and innocents, finally we can have some peace in this world.

And make sure to ask God to send all those murder inspiring books like the bible and koran into hell to burn also...

My wife is catholic and I am a Protestant. She wants me to convert and I have been resistant, because I am not convinced which religion has it right. If there are no cases of Stigmata in anything other that the Catholic religion, It may lead me to believe Catholics may be closer to god. ~ One who is always searching for god

Christians can worship at home, at church, and during all their off time. You can go to church every day, if it's open. You are free to teach your beliefs to your children. You are free to spend every minute in silent prayer, if you wish to.

Would someone please explain why you ALSO insist on praying in schools, ALSO insist that the government sanction one religion over all the others, ALSO try to rewrite science to include religious creationism, and ALSO claim persecution when your public crusade is limited in any way?

I really do not understand this. It's incomprehensible to me. Even if I can't agree with you, I would like to understand you a little better. I know we live in a chaotic culture in which cursing has become a sacrament and people have sex with anything that moves. I'm disgusted too. Are you reacting to this? Or do you honestly want to change the United States into a Christian theocracy, and disregard all the other religions that exist here?

Please explain.

Has anybody done a thorough investigation on the translations of the Bible?

I do understand there are some mistranslations, and I would like to be pointed to some of these. One word could make a huge difference in the understanding of the Bible. For instance Red Sea : Reed Sea (a lake not too far from the Red Sea.)

Given what we know about the human reproductive system, think about the claim that a VIRGIN was impregnated by a "god" which resulted in her giving birth to the son of "god". Now consider the claim for about 30 seconds..................................

Isn't it true that most normal, intelligent adults will agree that the belief in this type of birth is preposterous?

Just up the road from me a piece (Bailey, Colo) was the hostage situation where a young girl lost her life today. As I was tucking my little ones into bed tonight I could not help but think of her family this evening.

That is all.

how would you rate the reliability of the process by which the New Testament was transmitted to us ? What are some reasons you find this process trustworthy or not?

Scan a copy of the New Testament and examine some of the notes in the margins that talk about variant readings. What are some examples you find? How does the presence of these notations affect your understanding of the passages?

3. Do the criteria for determining whether a document should be included in the New Testament seem reasonable? why or whynot?

I was just wondering what is your idea, peace to you all

quran was revealed to prophet mohammad(who couldn`t read or write) in the course of 23 years, 1400 years ago in arabia
and its original text has remained unchanged (even one word is not changed from what was revealed to prophet mohammad).
the most important part of the quran is it's content and meaning ,but it is also the most beautiful book in arabic language and recently scientists have find some miraculous signs in it,like scietific facts that have been discovered recently like these:

WORD REPETITION IN THE QURAN

keep ind that quran is considered by arabs whether muslim or NOT as the greatest piece of arabic literature, and and it was impossible to just add or delete words in order to get these balances.

The word "land" appears 13 times in the Qur'an and the word "sea" 32 times,
If we add up the total words of both "sea" and "land" we get 45 , the calculation:
32/45 X 100% = 71% = percentages of Water (Sea) in the world
13/45 X 100% = 29% = percentages of Land in the world

The statement of "seven heavens" is repeated seven times. "The creation of the heavens (khalq as-samawat)" is also repeated seven times.

"Day (yawm)" is repeated 365 times in singular form, while its plural and dual forms "days (ayyam and yawmayn)" together are repeated 30 times. The number of repetitions of the word "month" (shahar) is 12.

The number of repetitions of the words "plant" and "tree" is the same: 26

The word "payment or reward" is repeated 117 times, while the expression "forgiveness" (mughfirah), which is one of the basic morals of the Qur'an, is repeated exactly twice that amount, 234 times.

When we count the word "Say," we find it appears 332 times. We arrive at the same figure when we count the phrase "they said."

The number of times the words, "world" (dunya) and "hereafter" (akhira) are repeated is also the same: 115

The word "satan" (shaitan) is used in the Qur'an 88 times, as is the word "angels" (malaika).

The number of times the words "man" and "woman" are repeated in the Qur'an, 23, is at the same time that of the chromosomes from the egg and sperm in the formation of the human embryo. The total number of human chromosomes is 46; 23 each from the mother and father.

The word "salawat" appear five times in the Qur'an, and Allah has commanded man to perform the prayer (salat) five times a day

*****look at the complete list of word repetitions in the link for mathematical miracles below***

4-or in the qoran it is said that the universe is ever expanding which has been proven in recent years

5-it is also mentioned that the earth is egg-shaped, not spherical, a fact which was recently discovered;

6- it said there is cure in eating bee`s honey and it has been proven by doctors that honey has this effect

7-it empfesizes that God will put together in perfect order the very tips of our fingers in the day of judgement when he recreates our bodies, and recently
sientists discovered that fingerprints are unique to ones identity, yet the Holy quran empesized that 1400 years a go.
"Does man think that WE Cannot assemble his bones? Nay, WE are able to put Together in perfect order The very tips of his fingers."

When I held a bean sized peice of it 6 or so years ago I could feel the power in it. Anyone know what its called? It is kind of expensive otherwise I would have bought it. That bean sized piece was like $70.
