I was just wondering what is your idea, peace to you all

quran was revealed to prophet mohammad(who couldn`t read or write) in the course of 23 years, 1400 years ago in arabia
and its original text has remained unchanged (even one word is not changed from what was revealed to prophet mohammad).
the most important part of the quran is it's content and meaning ,but it is also the most beautiful book in arabic language and recently scientists have find some miraculous signs in it,like scietific facts that have been discovered recently like these:

WORD REPETITION IN THE QURAN

keep ind that quran is considered by arabs whether muslim or NOT as the greatest piece of arabic literature, and and it was impossible to just add or delete words in order to get these balances.

The word "land" appears 13 times in the Qur'an and the word "sea" 32 times,
If we add up the total words of both "sea" and "land" we get 45 , the calculation:
32/45 X 100% = 71% = percentages of Water (Sea) in the world
13/45 X 100% = 29% = percentages of Land in the world

The statement of "seven heavens" is repeated seven times. "The creation of the heavens (khalq as-samawat)" is also repeated seven times.

"Day (yawm)" is repeated 365 times in singular form, while its plural and dual forms "days (ayyam and yawmayn)" together are repeated 30 times. The number of repetitions of the word "month" (shahar) is 12.

The number of repetitions of the words "plant" and "tree" is the same: 26

The word "payment or reward" is repeated 117 times, while the expression "forgiveness" (mughfirah), which is one of the basic morals of the Qur'an, is repeated exactly twice that amount, 234 times.

When we count the word "Say," we find it appears 332 times. We arrive at the same figure when we count the phrase "they said."

The number of times the words, "world" (dunya) and "hereafter" (akhira) are repeated is also the same: 115

The word "satan" (shaitan) is used in the Qur'an 88 times, as is the word "angels" (malaika).

The number of times the words "man" and "woman" are repeated in the Qur'an, 23, is at the same time that of the chromosomes from the egg and sperm in the formation of the human embryo. The total number of human chromosomes is 46; 23 each from the mother and father.

The word "salawat" appear five times in the Qur'an, and Allah has commanded man to perform the prayer (salat) five times a day

*****look at the complete list of word repetitions in the link for mathematical miracles below***

4-or in the qoran it is said that the universe is ever expanding which has been proven in recent years

5-it is also mentioned that the earth is egg-shaped, not spherical, a fact which was recently discovered;

6- it said there is cure in eating bee`s honey and it has been proven by doctors that honey has this effect

7-it empfesizes that God will put together in perfect order the very tips of our fingers in the day of judgement when he recreates our bodies, and recently
sientists discovered that fingerprints are unique to ones identity, yet the Holy quran empesized that 1400 years a go.
"Does man think that WE Cannot assemble his bones? Nay, WE are able to put Together in perfect order The very tips of his fingers."

Please read your Qur'an:

God has not commanded 5 daily prayers. It's 3.

I hardly count that as a miracle, more like creative numerology.

If an imam ever raises a dead person out of their grave, after they have been in it for 4 days, CALL ME. Jesus did that. THAT is a miracle!

Jesus walked on water also. Did Mohammed? THAT would be a miracle.

Jesus gave sight to a man born blind, when the blind man was over 40 years old! Medical science STILL can't do that! THAT is a miracle.

Jesus gave a woman back her life and self-esteem, when she had wasted her life as a prostitute. Even the local religious leaders of the day had written HER off. Giving somebody a new lease on life is a miracle!

The word "land" appears 13 times in the Qur'an and the word "sea" 32 times.

Stop the presses! Can't everyone see what a miracle this is!!!!! We must all convert immediately!!!!!!!

...not. You know, Nostradamus predicted 9/11, so Nostradamus enthusiasts claim. It's easy to add significance to things after the fact that was not there before the fact.

These types of numeric phenomena will occur in any text, because you are only reporting the "successes" and not the "failures." For example, you report that the word day is mentioned 365 times. That's neat. But is the word "week" mentioned 52 times? Is the word "bone" mentioned as many times in the Quran as there are bones in the human body? One who seeks this type of evidence searches until he finds a success, and discounts all failures. I assure you that with this method, you will find an equal amount of successes in any book, whether considered holy by a people, or not.

I don't mean to undermine your faith in the Qur'an. I just mean to point out that this type of "evidence" is not sufficient, because it is faulty. And again, it does not mean it was not divinely organized in this way, but it just simply cannot be PROVEN. If you chose to believe it is divinely breathed, then that is up to you.

It's very much like eating Kosher helps you avoid food borne illnesses before modern man discovered germs. We could take up equal space showing similar instances in the Bible (including allusions to quantum physics) Suffice it to say, modern man frequently underestimates the knowledge of older generations.

I don't think this is the place to preach at all. Trust me, there are an annoying number of knuckle-dragging rubes trolling these boards and they'll moan and piss and whine about how much they disagree with you.

carnaby, it's kinda hard to change something when it's passed down orally from person to person, in EVERY single Muslim family.
