I firmly believe that friends and family will be in heaven with us, provided they have accessed the route to heaven, which would be Jesus Christ...the Only Way to The Father, Who is in Heaven.

I have read many books giving accounts of after-death and near death experiences where relatives are waiting near or in the bright light that seems to be a consistent factor in most of the accounts.

While it is true that Jesus said there will be no "marriage" in heaven, I believe true love transcends the bounds of time and death and that those we loved on earth may be a spiritual "connection" that we can also enjoy in heaven.

As for internet access - I don't think it will be necessary. Our means of communication will far surpass the current technology we use. Both communication and information transfer will be accessible at the speed of thought. Forms of information may be stored via other types of "databases" that we humans currently have no conception of. But if type follows true, spiritual principles being what they are, technology won't be a necessary component.

Heaven is incomparably better than this world, so even if there is no internet access, you'll be too busy drooling in eagerness to miss it.

You won't be cut off from people you know, if you all go to Heaven. But you will be cut off from everyone if you are in Hell.

I think we don't need friends and internet in heaven because we will be happy all the time there with the glory of God. There is no other means of finding happiness and communication. Glory is glory.

When I first arrived here, that was my first question, "Do we have internet?!" But I was quickly shown some golden computers that have high-speed internet. So yes, we are connected. And these computers are awesome. They never crash.
