"God served first", then the whole crop becomes lawful food. The offering of the first-fruits was, in Israel, regulated by laws enshrined in different parts of the Mosaic books. This was found in the Old Testament, like Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.
I think that yeah, tithes are first fruits because they come from the very top of your check or money that you get, and that is found I believe in Malachi 3:10.

You can support anything by Scripture if you try hard enough. I don't believe in tithing anyway. The very people who tell you to tithe (the pastors) are the same ones who get their salary from the tithe. The whole tithing doctrine is corrupt. Be careful.

yes, if you consider the offerings by Cain and Abel, or the fatted calf offered a few other times, even the ram in the bush. (you'll have to look these up yourself) But they do have to be the best, or the pick of the litter. Otherwise it is just giving away junk, don't you agree? Of course, this would have to be a regularly occurring event, not just sometimes when the harvest bears itself in a different manner.
