It is sad to see so MANY people not believing or just ANGRY about God.
How can you look at ANYTHING in this world and not feel a higher power is responsible for it?
I would LIKE to be as high in the numbers as I could be and not be a "fanatic". I guess in the 80's like you.
I teach 9th grade Sunday school but I am intolerant of "idiots". I am a work in progress just trying to be the best person I can be to my family, friends, and fellow man!

Reduction to a single number is convenient, but promotes half-truths. Your number would be affected by attitude toward religion, family ritual, personal prayer, philosophy, and plain old mood. There could be daily changes, even hourly changes.

I would say I'm a 28 at the moment. But what about tomorrow morning, when I feel the sun on my face and smell the fresh air? Then I could be a 61, easy.

I think I'm sitting on the scale somewhere between 67 and 83. I'm not going out to hurt anybody else with my religious beliefs, recruit people into my religious beliefs (except for someone on Yahoo Answers that I just said "go back to shul"; shame on me), or tell people how wrong their religious beliefs are compared to mine. My level of observance isn't exactly where I'd like to be, but I'm doing a pretty darn good job with it.
Today, I'm a 78. Ya, 78.

I'm 180 on a scale, but as far as religion goes, it scores a big zero with me.

"God is dead" was not to be taken literally. It was to mean religion was dead. the idea of god.

Just to avoid confusion I dipped under your scale to "0" so we would all understand it is the god never existed type of atheism I have going on here. No disrespect meant to your scale, sir.

45... maybe. My scale tends to jump up and down a lot, depending on the belief and whether someone is being responsible about their religion or not.
