Is the United Nations to blame for the conflict in the middle east ?

Canada's representative to the United Nations is Allan Rock, a former corrupt minister of justice in Canada who promoted underground marijuana mines, and same gender marriages.

Has the United Nations been corrupted to promote conflict between Jews, Christians and Muslims, because of a 'gay agenda' that sees religion in particular Christianity, the pope, and Muslims as an enemy ?

People are not going to change what they believe, people are just looking for excuses to go on believing what they believe is true and feel completely guiltless about it. God created the earth in one big bang. End of story. Does it really matter what other's think? Everyone is so busy bashing eachother between creations and evolutionists, athiest and thiest. I'm pretty sure God just wants us all to get a long. Can't we just be nice to eachother and stop all the theatrics??? I think we can. Louis Armstrong said it best. " What a wonderful world this could be."

do you eat meat? why? don't give me that "god put them on earth to eat" ****. if you're so loving why do you think its okay to kill and canibalize the flesh (or carcass to be even more descriptive) of another species? do you know how they're killed? it's disgusting. i'm tired of christians trying to convert me and force me to go to church they don't know me and they're contradicting and they're just so proud of their insensibility. and i haven't found one that could answer this question in a rational manner.

Most atheist I know don't really care if people worship or not. We are not trying to prove there is not God, we are only suggesting that there is no evidence that would lead us to believe there is.
We care about religous matters because they affect our everyday lives and we don't like that.
We don't want religion taught in schools, we don't want christian morality forced on us. We don't want to be told we can't choose for ourselves.
We support your right to worship, please support our right not to, and keep your belief where they belong...in your churches.

Isaiah 52vs13-53vs12-He will be exaulted, but first marred more than any man. He will lay down his life as a lamb -and make atonement for our souls. He will see his seed and prosper.

Have you the Messianic New birth-Jeremiah and Ezekiel predicited-Jeremiah 31vs31 and following "And i will make with the house of Israel, a new covenant, not like the one I made with Moses, and ye shall be my people and i will be your God. (not like when only the high priest could meet God when offering the blood sacrifice for sins in the temple for yom Kippur each year for all my Jewish peoples sins-that care to follow the book)

the only true Jewish person today has the Messiah-the rest call God a liar-and made a new religion with no blood sacrifice for sins- Moses said-"The life of the flesh is in the blood, and ive given it on the altar to make atonment for your sins." other sacrifices too but had to have the blood atonement -till fufilled in Messiah-temple gone now so is the only way!!!

in God's Passion for God's Glory by John Piper which is based on "The End for Which God Created the world" by Jonathan Edwards the claim is made that God's Glory is God's cheif goal, showing mercy being a chief end to achieve the goal

your thoughts? do you agree?

Don't you think that an anti-sex position is a rather silly position for your sect to take when the biblical book "Song of Solomon" is a piece of erotic poetry? (For instance, in Song of Solomon 8:2, the bridegroom proposes to "drink of spiced wine of the juice of the pomegranate." The pomegranate was a symbol of the female genitalia, and the "spiced wine" represented menstrual blood).

What is your opinion of the Shroud? Religious Icon, Religious Fake, or something else?

Why do you think that?

For full disclosure, I am an atheist who knows that the shroud is from the 14th century and is a fake.

The reason for my question is to get an idea how many people think that it contains the image of jesus.

I remember hearing of a verse in the Quran/Koran that says Christians and Jews are the enemy and to make war with them and kill them. I know someone will say that's misquoted and/or out of context, so please enlighten me... do Muslims love or hate Christians?

Thanks for your answers...there are smart people here!

Okay...I am happily married and have 3 beauiful children...my wife is fantastic..really she is. I have a good group of friends and family...I am basically a very happy person...and the vast majority of people really seem to like me,but....

In my alone time...when no one else is around and I am thinking about my life, work, family, friends etc...I have this nagging thought that if everyone really knew me...if they knew 100% of everything they wouldn't really like me. Does anyone else feel this way...or is it just me?
