At the present time all religions of the world except Islam respect people enough to allow them to hold their own views and not lose their life over it. However, Islam is not that way. Muslims say either convert or we will cut your head off.

Read this article entitle "Pope in 'Crusader conspiracy' with Bush;Sheik:'Only diaglogue we want is when all religions agree to convert to Islam'"http://wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=52167

I would say that if there was a one-world religion it would be Islam. It would come by force and not because the one who converted agreed with it. Most people would say or do anything you want them to do if it meant saying their life.

It would have to be a religion that taught that all the major religions were true.
It would have to show how by reinterpreting the seeming conflicts in the interpretations they could come together as one.
It would have to come with "a new name" Revelations 3:12 and as a new religion,("You can't put new wine in old wine sacks" Jesus.)
There is one religion that does this. I hope you "seek" for it.

The whole world will one day come to learn without a doubt that Jesus is the Son of God.

Still, some on that day will not convert, even when they behold.

“One country, one ideology, one system is not sufficient. It is helpful to have a variety of different approaches. We can then make a joint effort to solve the problems of the whole of humankind”
