I think they should be able to get married and have families like other religions.

No. If you want to marry and have children you don't become a priest. Catholic priests are not like the ministers of other faiths as they alone have the power to say Mass in which Our Lord is present in the Holy Eucharist. They also hear Confessions and I don't think I would feel right about going to see a married priest in Confession as husbands and wives generally have no secrets.

It doesn't matter what I think regarding this matter.
Catholic priests take a vow of chastity of their own volition. No one forces them to become priests. When they decide to enter the priesthood, they are aware beforehand that it requires a vow of chastity, and in accepting their vocation, they willingly accept that vow as well.
The ones that commit crimes of pedophilia and/or ephebophilia should be held accountable for their crimes. The priests that have been found guilty of these crimes are a very small minority.
"Allowing" priests to have sexual intercourse by removing the vow of chastity from the requirements of the vocation would not turn pedophiles and ephebophiles into people who prefer to have sex with adults. People who coerce children into sex are not well people. It is not a lack of sex that leads people to seek sex with children. It is a mental illness. So, to remove the vow of chastity would not solve the problem you are hoping to see solved.
Gleaning some education about pedophilia, ephebophilia, Catholicism, and the priesthood might assist you in constructing relevant arguments.

First, let me say that I am Catholic. That being said, I don't understand why Priests cannot be married and therefore, have sex. Not that it would solve the problem with priests molesting boys because if they (priests) are gay, marriage isn't going to fix that. I just really don't agree and/or understand why marriage is forbidden. Who's to say Jesus Christ wasn't married? We can only go on what was written through time, but who's to say was is written is the truth? How can we really know if we weren't there?

No, I know a married priest, he was Episcopalian and converted to Catholism he has a wife and 6 kids. He says he doesn't think priest should be married because their is no way to be a husband, father and priest and give each the needed attention.

The priests take a vow of celibacy. The orginial reason for this is they have their "family" to care for by ministering where ever the church needs them. To do their "job", all of their time and emotion must be spent preforming their work as one of God's shepherds.

No, I think the one's that did, not only broke their vows but started this discussion. If they were oriental monks with vows of celibacy this wouldn't even be discussed. It would be a demonstration of their mystical powers.
Come to think of it. It is never discussed except for Catholic priest. Wonder why that is?

Why not? I think once you start denying yourself of certain urges, you're bound to turn into a weirdo. There's nothing worse than a child-molesting priest, and the fact that there are so many makes you wonder if maybe it isn't time to rethink some of the ways the Church does things.

I think the Catholic church and the world would be far better off if priests were allowed to marry and have normal sex lives--bottling up such a powerful natural force is itself unnatural and gives rise to bizarre behaviors.

nice save...
and I think they should be allowed to marry. It never made any sense to me to have a celibate giving advice on marital relations. IF someone is married BEFORE becoming a priest they can stay married, but if they are singele they can't GET married.
